ok, I'm a little confuzzled as to what you are having a problem with, but I'll try to answer you anyway.

from what I see, you don't understand what you have been told about filepaths. the folder itself is not named C:\Program Files\Stepmania CVS\Songs\Dance Dance Revolution 6th Mix -Max- (sakura is in 8th mix, btw, not 6th).

C:\ is the drive name. that means you go to "My Computer" and open the C: Drive. then you click on Program Files. Then you find Stepmania CVS and go into that folder. then open the songs folder. Create a new folder in there and call it whatever you want. stick your song folder in there. you don't actually make a folder named "C:\Program Files\Stepmania CVS\Songs\Dance Dance Revolution 6th Mix -Max-." they just told you all of that information so you know where to put the folder. Got it? if you don't or if I am mistaking what you are asking, just PM me and I'll help you out.

oh, I had a problem like that when I would play para mode on stepmania. it's happening because you either 1. deleted the dance mode folder or 2. deleted the default noteskin. it's also possible that the default noteskin/game mode is corrupt (which would be weird, but I don't rule out any possibilites).

everything I wrote comes down to one solution, reinstall stepmania. if that doesn't work, then delete and try a different Alpha.
