Hi (sorry if this is the wrong forum for this kind of question) I was wondering if anyone knew a lot about the PS2's DDRMAX's Workout Mode. I'm trying to do a project in Chemistry dealing with Thermochemistry that has something to do with how the game calculates the number of kilocalories that is lost by dancing on the mat. If someone could explain what kind of equation or formula that the game uses to calculate the number of steps to the number of kilocalories lost I would really appreciate it, thanks.

I'm sorry, but i don't think that this is the correct place for you to ask this. I do not think that anyone here has that knowledge.

The kilocalorie estimation method is ridiculously flawed and is really nothing more than a novelty. Anybody that uses it to try to gauge what they've burned is dumb, and you should probably try to find something a little more useful than DDR to do a Chemistry project on.
