1. apparently new players are catching on to ddr more and more, supporting the genre for new generations!
2. the more new players that play, the better i seem to look lol ^^

Hm, what do I hate the most about "noobs". Well actually "noobs" are cool with me, it's the ignorant people who will not help the "noobs" get to be better players, and just insult them instead. *sigh*

O MY GOD!!!!!!!! NOOBS JUST TOTALLY PISS ME OFF!!!

i hate how hey think that they could do better then you after they saw you master Drop Out on heavy! Then when they get on the bad they start jumping around like crazed monkeys, then they f****in knock you off the machine and make you loose!! Then they just laugh at you and say "ha ha, im better then you, i can stay on my feet"

they just tottaly piss me off...

There gay little stork step makes me mad too...

The thing I hate about noobs are..well..practicly everything!!!

Whenever I play with a noob..he/she always has a group of friends are start a riot! They say things like "OMG NO WAIT! STEP ON THIS! UR GONNA LOSE! HEY THAT KID IS BEATING YOU!"etc.. It Drives me nuts!!! >_< and the fact that they always stare at my feet...grrr...

The only thing I dislike is when people try to retend to play, when they have no idea whats going on. I would be willing to help a newb, but not n00bz.

I hate it when they don't listen to me. The only advice I ever really give for newbs is to stay off the middle, but they never listen to me. Then I watch them go up to light mode and trip and just totally suck cause it has more steps.

Bugs me when someone, usually a little kid, gets on the machine and plays Graduation for every song.

Bout a week ago I was playing and these girls went after me and one was acting really stupid. She was acting like she was the best or something. Then she asked me if I had ever gotten an A. After that I just kind of ignored her.

I'm all about more people playing, but they should listen to the people that have been playing longer.

but i hate n00bs in general but i hate when ANYONE walks betwwen the space in the screen and your pad so you cant see. or through the bar between the two pads or across the pad at all its like if you dont ddr you cant touch the pad hmmm. i know i ll just put a sign up that says BROKEN NOW GO AWAY untill i get to the mall that would ensure nobody destroys the pads i think ill do that there just n00bs and innocent children after all.

here is my thoughts on "n00bs", I shall express them through story.

I few weeks ago I saw this girl playing on beginner, she didn't hit a SINGLE arrow on time, but she was just grooving to the song, just really rocking out having a good time with her friends, and that my friends was a n00b that was more respectable than any one who can make everything into whether you are a n00b or l33t.

Well, I don't care if people are beginners, put their foot in the middle or anything.
But what I really hate is noobs who think they're cool because they can play heavy, and just make fun of people who can't because they think it'll make them look better... hey wtf ? that would be ME a few months ago T_T

I don't know/care enough noobs to get mad at all of them, but whenever I try to teach people crossovers, and they don't listen, and they screw up. X_X;;
Seriously, there are some points in DDR where if you double step [L D R D L D R] it looks like you've got some sort of rectal problem.

i go to my arcade on half-price night, which is once a week. most of the heavy players are there. we usually chase away all the "n00bs" except for this one guy, he's like 17, and on light, and thinks he's "teh 1337." but he doesn't bother anyone while they play, but it kind of bugs me when he finishes and gets an averaged B and brags about it. then me and my friend do verses mode on heavy, and do 9 footers. the first time he saw us play, he was like "are they on heavy??" and this other guy was like "yeah, they're good at this" and then the guy was like "but they're like 13!" then the other guy corrected him saying "14." i heard him over the music, but it was in the long gallops part of tsugaru, which i basically have memorized, so the talking didn't bug me. the long gallop is:

The onlytime a noob pissed me off was when they gave me and this 20 yr. old guy attitude about them going next when they just arrived before the end of the final song and we waited since they started the game. You gotta remember though, YOU WERE A NOOB ONCE!!! Im pretty sure you PROBABLY pissed off better players when you played on lower difficulties and you were holding them down. If they stick to the game and get better at it to where theyre worthy competition for you what would you think? Would you still hate them because when they started they were a noob? My friend recently set up DDR for his birthday, and a few of his friends could play pretty well. We were trying to introduce some of our friends to the game, and most of them really enjoyed it and a few were able to move on to Light right away. One of our beginner friends was a good dancer and he was able to implement his moves into the game and freestyle right off the bat, and we were having a blast until a girl tried it, and she failed her song and started acting really miserable. She refused to let another person have their turn for like 20 minutes until she passed the song with a D, playing the whole thing with right foot only and really abusing my friend's soft pad

and she whined to the experienced players and asked us why she wasn't doing well, and we just said she didn't have the right attitude.

I despise the ones (mainly the little kids who i guess can't compute that they might get hit..just wish that they would though) who lean in the middle of the two bars as you do doubles. It's happened to me atleast twice, and once it made me have to do an "emergency maneuver" of triping over my feet and ramming my side into one of the bars...
