When I stared playing I was 205 lbs, now I'm 186 lbs. plus I just moved out into a apartment by myself and this keeps me from getting to bored.

It gave me ability. Ability to move fast, to think faster, faster reaction times. Also gave me alot of self-esteem when I go up in front of every body. Although this isn't so much of a big/liked thing, but it helped me with Martial Arts. Keeping my balence, attacking and defending faster. Able to see what is where and when. It has done alot for me, but not all good....

DDR has given me the chance to keep my metabolism fast, meet new people, not become lazy (altough i think it's to late), spend money on what i actually want choicewise, keep a cardioworkout, and have someplace to go on fridays, saturdays, or whenever. and the fact that i can show off

This is going to sound really cheeeeeezzzzzzzyyyyyyyyy, but it's actually somewhat changed my life. I have lost about 20 pounds since I started, and it's given me a lot more self confidence. I have become a lot more active since I started playing DDR (I have taken up mountain biking, for instance) simply because I am in better shape. It has broadened my tastes in music to include various electronic and japanese music, and has introduced me to pieces of classical music that I don't know if I would have otherwise discovered. It has helped me relieve a lot of stress and sometimes depression in the course of my life simply by letting me focus on something different that I enjoy, and it has given me something to do and somewhere to go. Hooray for DDR!

helped me to get out of the house, gain new friendships, become more confident in what I do because I'm certainly not the best at this game but I don't believe I suck...im confident in other things I do because I believe if I work at them then I can get it...and most importantly I lost 60 lbs so far since starting in october so yeah...don't think ill be giving this up for a while...plus its fun to keep working and see how you get better over time.
