I love the songs, I love the gameplay, and I love the workout! E1.gif

I even recommend it to anyone I know who complains about their weight *heh* I sell it to them as a workout you'll look forward to every day E1.gif

i play cuz im addicted and i like attracting crouds when no other dudes on heavy are there it really impresses the masses of non-DDRers to see a 14-year-old with no athletic background kickass on heavy mode plus i want to get girls to talk to me even though now i kinda like my friend cuz she actually convinced me to go on to standard and heavy modes now i just wanna impress her

kevdadude: I'm sorry, but it just sounds idiotic to try and get a girlfriend by impressing them with your "1337 skillz" at DDR. If you have a female friend that you like and you think she likes you then just fucking tell her how you feel instead of sitting there. No matter how many times you pass Max300, chances are she's going to go out with another guy if you just sit there. Just my opinion.

As for my reasons for playing DDR, I don't really like attention from crowds, and it's not for weight loss either, since I'm only about 130. I just like playing competitively because I have nothing else to do. I'm starting to use NNR again, I need to go to the arcade and get some newer scores because a lot of my scores are from last year and are pretty mediocre. I still have room for improvement, and I'll probably continue playing DDR, as long as I don't get obsessed with IIDX again. And this post is too long. End.

but on a semi serious note DDR saved my life, i used to be into alot of drugs and such but when i found DDR the addiction to that was far too overpowerng so i quit the drugs so i could buy a ps2 (witch i prevously pawnd for pot) and DDRMax2 and a red octane ... i owe my life to DDRand i am truly grateful

Because it is fun. My friends...(not anymore) make fun of me for it . I like it also because it helps me get in shape. It is also just addicting. I am right in front of a tv wiht ddr playing and when that arrow just comes up it makes me want to hit it. E15.gif I also do it so when i go to the arcade people start looking at me and start saying stuff like "WOW, how can people move their legs that fast" I'm not the only person who they say about that though. I mean i am not a person who can beat every heavy without looking at screen and get all perfects.I can only do some Heavy. Well I guess i do DDR for all of the above, and if ull exuse me, i think i will go and stomp that arrow on CANDY (Standard) E15.gif

I play DDR first and foremost because it's fun. I personally don't play for competitive reasons. I used to play fighting games for competition but after playing them since the original SF, they tend to lose their interest. I still play SC2 with my friends but they always lose so it gets boring. DDR is a highly interactive game even though it uses only 4 control movements. I get a lot of exercise playing DDR and it is actually helping me to quit smoking. None of my friends understand my so-called addiction to DDR but that's ok. It's better than having an addiction to nicotine. Sometimes I feel as though DDR can be related to an MMORPG because of the friends I have lost contact with for the simple fact that they just don't understand.

I play it because Im addicted to it though I really don't take it seriously and I laugh when some person comes up to me at the Arcades and says "I hear you are really good... play me and I'll teach you a few things" Mostly because I really don't take it that seriously Its just smething to do at home E4.gif I also play because of the good music I like the techno songs and remixes of old songs, though my first introduction to DDR was the song Afronova - Re-venge I like that song and Level Hehe riiight.gif
