How can I start a stepchart in the middle of a song?

I've become overwhelmed with boredome recently and was wondering how to do this. The song starts off way to slow for me to work with and I don't have any music editing programs so, I was pretty much just wondering if I could start the steps late in the song by just usung the stuff in Stepmania (what I'm using)

I'm assuming you mean that you're creating a simfile, the music 'starts out too slow' for you, and you have no way of editing the beginning out. In that case, the answer is no. DWI's test mode allows you to start at a particular place in a simfile, but I don't think that's what you mean.
