i wear spalding. not stylish i guess but it does the trick. its wide shoed and long so i dunt gtta reach the arrows like my frend does lol he wears a 6 size shoes. lol messed up ya i kno but i faced him in versus on the song called dive to the night( i abuse that song totoally) and i wasted him ROULLETE BAR ALL THE WAY LO!L

i just bought a 200$ pair of mizunos, knowing they would help me out with everything from DDR to taxiing the airplane in a straight line. i saw them sitting on the shelf, all purple and silver, calling to me... they knew i would treat them well. now that i have them, i have never been happier. i don't get blisters, i don't have to wrap my feet in duct tape before i play ddr anymore. they pamper my feet. every ddr player should try mizunos at least once. they might just be the best thing that ever happened to you!

I like to be barefoot or wear socks at home. I don't have the balls to play at the arcade yet... I haven't ventured out to embarrass myself there just yet. I suspect that I will wear my K-Swisses when I do try it.

Today is my third day playing DDR. I've been playing barefoot on a soft pad. But my arches are killing me. I'm thinking that the pain will go away once my feet have more time to get used to it.

I bet wrestling shoes would be great for the arcade. They're thin, but have good grips on bottom, and they support your ankles. Though, they aren't too stylish.

i prefer to play with socks, but in the arcade, the panels always rip them up then i loose a pair of socks =/ otherwise i wear my vans, good amount of padding and pretty soft soles so i can feel my way around the pad.

i wear DC's their comfortable and they don't hurt my feet after a couple hours of ddr. @ main event and @ home cuz i have a metal pad

I either play in my DC's or socks!

At the arcades I wear my DC's but if I'm at home I usually dont have my shoes and and am most of the time too lazy to go get them...

i recently ditched my boots for a nice pair of athlectic wear. They were 15 buck at wal-mart for me. and i bought gel insole. That really helps.

I wear socks at home on my new ignition pads. and at the arcade (which i dont go to that often) i wear shoes. i've never tried socks at the arcade, seems like it would hurt your feet.
