What are some DDR stereotypes that piss you off?

One that I've heard is that you need rhythm to play. I don't see that being all that true, it's really just eye-foot co-ordination. The only way rhythm factors in is when you freestyle...

Okay I agree with the fact that it is a bad stereotype that it's wierd when a girl playes but it freaks me out still cause I'e only seen like one girl "really" play so... sorry but...

Also That whites aren't good at it well thats totally not true.

Oh and a kids game. Kids are annoying. My friend has a 10 year old brother who plays. He's not heavy enough for freeze steps, he sucks, and hes tha spawn of satan.( sorry that's not part of the stereotype thing but it's true)

I dislike the stereotype that if you can play IIDx well, you'll automatically be good at DDR. I mean, there's all those rumors that go around saying "someone beat max 300 on his first time playing DDR, and said this is easy, IIDX is harder" It's so stupid. Just because you can do something hard with your hands doesn't mean you can do crap with your feet.

i can play ddr but i dont dance... im just here to play the game and get in good shape. but so far i cant get AAA or AA when stage 3 is over. i only could get AA for 1st -3 stages. when the results shows up about 3 songs i played, i get B!

I hate when people think DDR is some gay video game, no ur all wrong, it's a lifestyle. I also hate when people say that DDR is gay when they have never played. It is only fun when u can do Standard and Heavy songs.... everything else sucks

Hmmm I don't like it when people think that ALL overwieght people can't play DDR, Hell Im over wieght and Im suprisinly really good at it, I wiegh 235 and I can do some Heavies and I can Pass MAX Unlimited with a B, and do other levels that In shape people can't do, then again I do play like 24/7

Not like any music besides japanese techno
Very Femanine (OMG THAT &^% ME OFF)
Queer/Gay ect..
Good at stomping on arrows

(it was the wost idea to tell my "FRIENDS" that i play ddr because they continually rag on me about being femanine and queer. And when i told em that tons of other guys play they said ALL GUYS WHO PLAY DDR ARE GAY.)
