I was begining to wonder if i was the worlds ony DDR smoker ...... gess not but damn . It dosent affect me that much but after some Healing Vision Angelic i'm winded prety good .....ok damn good but hey i used to smoke 2 packs of Marlbro reds a day now i'm down to about 2 days a pack so i'll take what i can get

What about all the children who have to live with parents that smoke, or aunts and uncles, or brothers? I don't want to come off as a bleeding heart, but you make it sound like it isn't the cigarette's fault, but the fault of the person. So because one has never smoked you assume they are being evil? Screw you! If you arent somewhat evil to people who smoke... how can they stop. If a kid wasnt evil enough to tell his dad "I wont listen to you daddy! You smoke" how would a father get enough insentive to quit! Ouch... i think i lost my point... um...
You dont have to smoke to know what smokers go through! No! You dont! Screw you! Empathy is a very skillfull thing and if youre a master at it... a guy could probably emphasize a womans menstrual paind.

I find it completely amazing that people smoke and play DDR (or do both at the same time.  gross ). Here's something to think about to all the smokers out there; If you gave up smoking, think about how much extra money you'd have to play DDR  And you'd do better too. It's a win/win situation ^^ |

*raises hand* I used to smoke two to four packs a day from fifth grade to graduation of high school. Yep, sickening, isn't it? I quit cold turkey when I knew it wasn't for me.
People who say it relieves stress, bullshit. It doesn't. It just adds more, and to top it off, you have to buy the cigarettes to fill your craving. People who say they've tried quitting, but can't, that just tells you they have no will.
Now, does cigarette smoking affect dancing? Sure does. It decreases your stamina, shortens your breath. You'll last longer if you don't smoke. Trust me, I know from experience.

Now everyone else, dont get me wrong. I don't think smoking is a good idea. I'm not defending it. But I hate pricks who think they are so much better than smokers and they think they can tell you that smoking is bad. NO poopy.
Anyway, ai-can, I think you need to use some logic yourself, and until you do, please don't respond to this. |
For the record:
1) My nickname is Aoi-chan, not Ai-can or Ai-chan.
2) I have smoked less than 4 ciggs in my life and did it purely for scientific and personal research. Conclusion, you feel an addiction as soon as the first cigg is lit up and having been around 2nd hand smoke enough, you can create an addiction (Edit: To Smoking) from that too. I have also done personal research on the subject of smoking and its effects. But I fail to see whether or not I was/am a smoker has to do with any of this? Do I need to shoot somebody in the head to find out guns are deadly too? Furthermore, if any of you think I'm trying to act all high and mighty cause I don't smoke, you're making excuses, grow up already. I don't need to smoke to understand the effects of smoking; instead I can pick up a book and read about the subject.
3) When I said you 'lost the right to smoke', that is my own personal opinion on the subject. I first heard that one from two doctors actually, kinda funny huh?
4) Currently, the USA and other countries in the world are putting bans on public smoking, including restaurants and bars in some areas. Apparantly those governments and the people running them are against 2nd hand smoke and feel a citizen should have the right to be 'smoke free' when in public.
5) Your examples are pointless and you are very rude and completely illogical.
6) Congrats on quitting. But I'm shocked you would be so hostile towards non-smokers, seeing as you claim to be a non-smoker now. Ironic, isn't it?
7) I'm a guy, not a girl despite my avatar and nickname .
8) For those that supported me, thank you. For those that disagree or hate me, that's fine too. You have that right, but stop the flaming already. If you disagree with something, don't yell back 'STFU' or 'you prick', that's just rude.

I hate the smell of cigarette smoke. I do not get withdrawls from it; I've completely quit. Meaning, I don't even think about smoking. AGAIN.

Actually, there's a long story behind that. I decided to quit because I was wanting to go into the Marines or SEALs, and knew that smoking would kill me in the military.
Once I had a goal, I stopped.

Yep, I smoke and play DDR and it seems to have no affect on me whatsoever. In fact, in P.E, I can out run a lot of the skinnly non smokers on my class doing the pacer. Except that I can't go out smoke, then play again right after a cigarette. it seems to slow down my reaction time, and throws off my balance a little so I have to use the bar. I try to avoid smoking when I'm out playing though. But when I'm done, I smoke as much as I want, and it never seems to affect me much.

For some of the younger kids they are probably young and stupid (not all younger kids are stupid, I'm only 17 myself). My cousin was bored one day and decided to take some cigarettes from his mom for NO REASON at all.. just because he was bored so he decided to start smoking. |
