Eye Toy + Konami = Ghetto Para Para . I don't believe it. Extreme Songlist with para-esque dancing. Now the thing is will there be routines are like DDR ala arm flailing. I still say freestyle or para mode... it's all about style and flair. _________________

I too love Para Para Paradise. Problem is, I've got to go to Tornoto to play it . Ah well, It's going to be well worth it! I must devise a way to stay there all day. |

I just got my pads and game in the other day, and got my fliptop setup on Monday. I like the game so far, but I've just been messing around freestyling for the most part so far, and I haven't put much time into learning routines. I need to up the sensitivity on a couple of my pads I think because when I tried to do a routine, I got a lot of misses because my arms were too high (I'm 6 foot already). |

I love Para. There's a ParaPara Paradise 2nd Mix down at MGL over here in California if it hasn't been mentioned. 50 cents for 5 songs. It's good stuff. _________________

We have a Para Para machine here in Nashville...well, it's in Goodlettesville.
But yeah, I played it for the first time a few weeks ago. Para Para Paradise (2nd ...something) is very fun.
Speaking of the eye toy deal:
I think they should bundle five eye toys together, have a pad that you can dock the eye toys into, stand on the pad, and then wave your arms around.
the eye toys would be docked vertically, instead of the normal horizontal positions.
Think it's a good idea? _________________

I totally came up with the DDR / EyeToy idea a long time ago... I called it Step Arm Dancing Dancing Enjoyance! haha
It feels so good to talk about ParaPara, it's my first love: The first bemani I've ever played (how ya think i got the SN?). I really got into it. Still into it. But I just wish ppl would learn the difference between DDR and PPP... A few weeks ago, I saw this dude at the local arcade, i could tell he was a n00b. He stepped up on PPD, picked all the easiest settings (no options), and started the first song to pop up (prolly Try Me). So this dude sees the arrows and coordinatingly STEPS ON THE SENSORS! Obviously, he was failing, so I tapped him on the shoulder and informed him that using your arms might be a bit more benificial. He started to do so... I think he tried to hug me.
Anyways, that's just my bit... BTW, PPStage is still up? I haven't been there in forever! I always thought intrest in ParaPara was draining fast in the states. *shrug* ParaPara IS great...
oh yeah, check out the pic i linked in the thread about 'I Can Boogie'... it's got a good PPP joke in it...

I just recently got into Para, but I don't know of any machines anywhere near me. ;_;
Say, DDRfreak574, you live near me. Where do you go to play para para? |
