I've passed all 10s with at least an A except PSMO (B) and I rarely ever go below 8 just because it's not fun enough. I don't care much for paying money to bore myself. It's just a personal preference though. There are a wide enough variety of 9s and 10s to keep me entertained. A random 8 can be fun every so often too, but anything lower is.. well.. to me, not fun enough. I'd rather listen to the MP3 at home than play the steps if I am craving to hear a song.

sweet little bumble bee I know what you want from me... laugh.gif yay.

I've playing a lot of easier songs in the hopes of getting a AAA. As for just clearing stuff, I can get at the very least an A on every song in the list.

That's about half the reason I play low-footers. I love the music and it's amplified by having the steps.

Yeah, even though I've passed a couple of tens, I still mostly play 8s and 9s. AAing 7s and 8s is a lot of what I've been doing lately, too.

I've passed two tens (bag and Sakura, both with B's), but I don't kill the living hell out of them.

I focus more on fun 7's and 8's such as Dive To The Night or Waka Laka. Occasinally I'll do a real hard nine such as Stay or Drop Out, but notice that I said only occasionally.

Maybe it's just me, but I think all the 10 foot songs suck. The Maxes are boring as all hell to listen to. Mostly it's just a lot of random steps that are technically fast and difficult...but nothing else. Some of the most fun songs are the easier ones (7-8 feet) that are just plain good music.

I play too many ten footers. Lately, I've been trying to cut down, but they always sneak in somewhere. Ten footers are great songs and I'd play them every time, but it's just exhausting to do so.

Hopefully, if I stop playing them for long enough, I can improve my PA a little harder

max (3, X, legend of...) is the best thing that ever happened to ddr (all of them!) personally i think the whole ten foot thing is getting out of hand *cough* psmo *cough* but hey as long as there are ppl who can pass them, keep makin 'em harder, konami!

as for playing ten footers, i've done max3, maxX, sakura (duh) bag 2x E15.gif and i came close to passing lom just a couple days ago... but in general, i am weak and lazy and have no stamina so i have to be feeling really good to even bother attempting them, and then it's always a third song "who wants to see me fail something ridiculous?" kinda thing *surprised when i actually pass*

i think i am practically alone here in that i just play for fun... with never a thought for AA's or AAA's or whathaveyou (full comboes are nice just to say you hit every arrow but a perfect is a great is all the same to me...) so i just play whatever song i feel like playing... blue impulse and i do i do i do are among my favourites and hell i'll play anything if the song and the steps are fun... ever since max 2 i've stopped paying attention to foot ratings... *shrug* i just play.

and what's this rap i hear about genom screams heavy doubles being ten feet? did i miss something...

I pretty much don't play anything less than 8 foot simply because I get bored at that point. Typically, I don't even start playing a lot of 8s until I tire out later in the night from the 9s and 10s.

Coincidentally, I devised something that has become known as the torture set. Take a helping of Paranoia Survivor Heavy, add some Max 300 Heavy, and for desert, either LoM Heavy or PSMO. Now that's fun!

Pfft! You call that a torture set? You call that fun? Doesn't even sound appealing in the least. Hey I got a better Idea: just do the legend course. Anyways, take a good look kiddies. This is a perfect example of a Diffculty Whore. So tell me Mr. DW, whatcha gun do after you do that? Do it again? Wow, that's entertaining...If you're a true difficulty whore, you'd do all those songs S4R.

Well, arent we getting agravated quite easily. There is truly nothing wrong with being a "Difficulty whore". Its youre style i guess. Eventually you will realise that it becomes repetitive and not fun anymore, then youll decide to go to 8 and 7 steps and before you know it, you'll be playing songs because of the arrows rather than the difficulty. Imean for example... i can beat cartoon heroes on heavy but i choose to play it on standards because the jusmps are way funner to me.

So, no need to jump on them. Just let them succeed on their own. Okay, Reign?

Ever think maybe not everyone thinks exactly like you do? Maybe it's not fun for you but some people enjoy a good challenge. I guess you'd call me a "difficulty whore" also because I like to push myself and see what I'm capable of. Yes, I play a lot on sudden shuffle. That automatically means I'm trying to show off or prove I'm better than you or anyone else? To me it's a lot more fun to keep challenging myself than just play easy songs all the time and never get better. I do play easier songs, for example Midnite Blaze standard because I like spinning around, but I don't get the feeling of accomplishment from AAing songs I know are way below my level of play that I do from doing songs I can hardly, or can't yet pass. Different people have fun in different ways. If you want to give players like me a ridiculous label like that then I can think of plenty that will reflect the jealousy of our skill you seem to have.

I've passed everything but psmo, but i still enjoy playing 7s and 8s...it depends on what your focus is..I currently want to have all but about 15 songs sdged, so i play everything...also, I think it's fun going for AAAs, but it's also frustrating :O Play whichever way is fun for you.

Haha you guys are funny! You think I'm Jealous, Rancid? Of what? You took my post the wrong way, just like most other people do. So I called him a difficulty whore...so what? I call myself a difficulty whore too sometimes, so what the hell you talkin about? I've played my fair share of S4R, PSMO, and all the other so-called hard songs, and believe me or not, I've AA mostly every song out to date. Now get off my back and have a code red or somen.
