All I've got to say is that if you get a 320 combo on Angelic Mix, you deserve a B, at least, right? It gave me a D because I am like...tonedeaf and can't tell the difference between a perfect and a great.

120 perfects
285 greats.
320 combo.
D?
riiight.gif I smell trickery.

It gives the song a dramatic effect, the whole heart beat, hospital bed, last two notes. ETC
As for scores on heavy?
my best is a full combo with 27 greats

OH wow, check it out a whole thread dedicated to me...ahaha just kidding. But yeah the whole heart beat changes at the BPM gets faster pretty much. I think it adds a nice touch to the song. I can only B the song. ;_; somehow i always lose my combo 2/3s through.

With that many greats, any number of misses will bring you down greatly. Being able to combo a song is great, but work on the PA some too, why don't ya?

I never thought of it like that.

Hmn... I have a friend who loves that song a lot. Its his defining song in DDR. He never misses a full combo. He mastered that song to the point where he at least makes at most 29 greats. He once got a 7 great but he had attained "THEFLY", which is something you do not know of and i shall not discuss. Why am i telling you this? No reason.

Well, as far as the person suffering from a phobea of all things heart/life related instances go, i dont blame you for feeling scared of the beep. You probably get a flashback or something. Now you could do the easiest thing and ignore the song completely, or you could try to get over this fear. Im not gonna tell you how. I beleive you can do this on your own.

Now, back to me. I beat this song with an A because my friend loved it so. It might be tiring but i can pass it and thats all i can. Not a 503 combo, but an A. Too bad my favorite song is Rhythmn and Police.

Have an Omnipotent day.

(I'm falling in love with Sparks_11. Now i have to figure if youre a girl or guy.)

This song is what helped me get into DDR, and to date, it is my favourite song in regards to the music. I'm not sure what my favourite is in regards to steps.. but this song definately comes close.

the steps are god. why the heartrate monitor noise is in there is because it kinda shows its hardness. When it goes flat, man its just a huge buttocks run of 8th notes. In the beginning, its nice and calm. And that song has to have the most annoying freeze points ever. I always forget that it was going to be there, and it just owns my combo. Also those steps in the beginning are fun to play, that is if you have good stamina and foot cordination.

IMO definitely one of the best DDR songs.

I understand the way you feel but that is just like saying that the man. is going to change the name of a song that was called "Jack" in ddr because some 16 year old girl just caught her boyfriend cheating on her when his name was Jack.....

The same reason the background is a hospital bed. The heart monitor is a crucial part of the song. At first it's going pretty steadily and the song is pretty calm. It gets more complicated as the heart rate gets worse then the pause hits, the heart stops and the song goes crazy. Finally at the very end everything stops and the heart beat comes back.

The song tells a story..
sweet explanination dude. i myself love HVAM. but to the poster of the topic, if the song makes u feel uncomfortable, u dont have to listen to it. if some1 is playing and u r there, just get up and leave.

The Heavy steps are awesome. If you can spin off the beginning, the steps make much more sense. And I've always found the ending run to be most fun.
But everytime I spin it it leaves me drained...

i was just wondering why there is a heart moniter sound in the background. This is the kind of stuff that makes me not want to play this song(and my dad is in and out of the health clinics) So yeah...

I like this song but it is a little disturbing that a heart moniter is in the backgroung of a song aimed at 10-16 year olds(i think that is the age demographic)

[sarcasm]
Of all the injustices in the world the heart beat monitor noise in Healing Vision ~Angelic Mix~ is clearly the worse. Someone alert the FCC; if this sound effect doesn't offend you then you obviously don't have any sense of separating what is moral from what is immoral. Don't you understand? This game is targeted towards younger audiences and many ten year old kids will forever be traumatized by such a detestably repetitious sound bite. Especially of those who has relatives who have ever stepped foot into a hospital and were in need of a heart monitoring machine. It's a very sensitive issue for many and hearing the constant beeping for a whole three minutes will surely either bring about uncontrollable seizures or a upswell of a deep rooted depression stemming from the relentless reminder of a loved one attached to a machine that makes such a horrific noise. As for kids who have never had to witness the horrors of having a loved on attached to a heart monitoring machine, the sound ceaselessly playing in the background of a DDR song only desensitizes their susceptible little minds. What will become of our society if such an atrocity is left unattended? Kids will grow up and think nothing of such an important issue, and instead of being dismayed by heart beat monitor noises they will instead start dancing to them and all chaos will ensue henceforth. Truly the worse ever.
[/sarcasm]

My God, I hope the song Paranoia Eternal doesn't also sadden you when it reminds you of your mentally unstable hypochondriac cousin Milfred.

It's just a sound effect. Get over it. Thanks.
