It wasn't JSB because
a) he's too smart and cares about his body/appearance too much to resort to drugs (i'd think)
b) he wouldn't use drugs to win a tournament because he doesn't care so much about ddr anyways..and
c) He's good enough where he wouldn't need drugs to win...

Anyways, unless tourney organizers are going to start making people take drug tests, there isn't much we can do if people show up after taking substances, but if someone is witnessed using an obviously illegal substance (in a public area no less), they should at the very least be tossed out of the building. As competitive as we can get sometimes, it's a game. Caffeine wise, there isn't much you can do about it, because you can buy all the mountain dew/jolt/insert drink here you want because it's a legal substance. Alcohol wise, i've played ddr with a couple of drinks in me, and i found that the slightly relaxed state helped me play well, but playing while drunk would just turn into a laughable thing. It's a shame that things like this would happen (if it did at all), but i guess it is to be expected in our society anymore...

Seriously people this topic makes me freakin sick. Drugs for something as insignificant as a game. Hell, even if they're need their fix don't bring it into our game. Selling drugs isn't a way of life, it's a damn good way to get others and your self arrested though. People who do coke on ddr seriously need their priorities in order (so long as their doing it for a step up in ddr) it's a freaking game, how could you do anything so immature and stupid just to gain an advantage on something that doesn't matter. Now if someone says he takes drugs to win the tournament for the money we all know the money'd be spent on drugs to get him in same freakin situation. (if you havent gotten the clue i already i hate people who do illegal drugs)

i know jsb personally. we are best buds, and i know he would never stoop so low as to use drugs. heck, i know he wouldn't even touch caffeine (like putting it in a root beer or something). i think josh castor is referring to someone else, but i don't know who.

Like I said I think it would not be fair or my place to say the players name, although I do think whoever said it was JSB should probably try to look at himselff though and see if he's perfect before volunteering other peoples personal information out on their behalf.

Seriously, that is a problem. For the fact i didnt see it, i couldnt really give an opinion. I've seen people smoke cigs before matches, to calm nerves and get the neurons firing, but snorting or w/e, thats crossing the line. Not only is it an illegal substance, but it is used to try and perform better at a tournament. Totally immoral.

In my view drugs are evil and They should not be accepted in tournaments, regardless if it hinders/amplifies your skill. That is flat out wrong. Catstor u said this guy isnt ur best friend, just a friend. If hes a good enough friend then u should get him off the stuff, at least while hes playing DDR. Extreme workouts and Drugs dont really mix. If he wont get off the stuff, at least try and get him off of it for tourneys....

DDR when your high/drunk is hard, its super fun when your high but when your drunk its kinda hard...if you were good enought coke would help you a lot...you could do legend road like 10x in a row and it wouldn't be no thang.

I dislike drugs...I disagree with them totally. If something is illegal it shouldn't be done, obviously. And what the crap! Using drugs for a videogame...even if it was just his addiction, doing it in a public place isn't the smartest idea...he's lucky that a friend found him and not a person that would report him...sigh...
