1. I have nothing better to do with my time
2. Hello, it's a reaosn I joined this forum!
3. It's the only form of exercise I have anymore what with my discontinuation of P.E. classes
4. I lose weight after playing for hours *cough*two and a half weeks ago*cough*i lost three pounds in one night*cough*
5. My friend got me hooked on it and now it's all I do when I go to his house X)
6. I need conversation topics when I go to school and make everyone (except my ddr-knowledgable friends) go all "Uhhh....?!"
7. IT'S FUN, DUH! 8)

I started playing 2 years ago to lose my gut, which to this day I still have. Given that I spend an increasing amount of time inside, it looks like it'll be a while before it's eliminated. That's not really my motive anymore, it's just really fun (even though I suck... read on) and often the only exercise I get, even though I can only make a 20-minute trip to an arcade about once every 1 to 3 months on average (3 years till license...)
