i was just wondering why there is a heart moniter sound in the background. This is the kind of stuff that makes me not want to play this song(and my dad is in and out of the health clinics) So yeah...

I think the steps are an even more compelling reason not to want to play that song E1.gif

The same reason the background is a hospital bed. The heart monitor is a crucial part of the song. At first it's going pretty steadily and the song is pretty calm. It gets more complicated as the heart rate gets worse then the pause hits, the heart stops and the song goes crazy. Finally at the very end everything stops and the heart beat comes back.

The song tells a story..

The heart beat is there to let everyone in the arcade know how fast yours is beating after playing it.

You should write Naoki a letter and ask him to take it out.

You need to host it, not just take the pic off your comp. http://www.picturehost.co.uk is a good site. Go there.

Oh, and I think that this young fellow could use some water because he looks rather parched.

hey to whoever said "is your dad relevent?" Yeah he is pal. I dont know if you love anyone in your life. The only reason i posted this is because i want to understand the reason behind the music. I like this song but it is a little disturbing that a heart moniter is in the backgroung of a song aimed at 10-16 year olds(i think that is the age demographic)

I understand why you don't like it but what is offending about a heart monitor to 10-16 year old kids?

Timmy: Hey Jimmy let's play Healing Vision Angelic Mix!
Jimmy: Ok!

*They play and finish*

*Timmy is on the floor scarred for life*

Jimmy: What's the matter, Timmy?!
Timmy: That... heart monitor. That was the worst thing I've ever heard...
Jimmy: Golly!

That made no sense at all. Thank you. biggrin.gif

For christ's sake, it's just a song. Do you not listen to any song that has the word heart or dad in it? It's not like listening to a song with a steady beep in the background is going to have any effect whatsoever on... anything =/

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

Its a song based on survival and the marvels of the human biology. The song may or may not be related to your dad, and if it was, who cares? The song wasnt made to specifically traumatize you, it was made like that because Naoki thought that the best way to get your heart pumpin is to have you dance with intensity like you are trying to survive. If you dont like that type of song, dont play it. disturb.gif

Correction, 2MB made the remix to Healing Vision. The original had no beeping.
