I wouldn't buy it unless they were selling it for like $50 or less

Techno Motion sells for $3,000, the only place I could find it was channelbeat, but I wouldn't recommend going there......

That'll buy you a USA machine off coinopexpress, way better than Techno Motion, unless you like crap.

Techno Motion is better in MANY ways than a DDR USA.

For Starters

-Better Graphics (MUCH better)
-Faster Frame Rate
-Better Songs (to me)
-MANY MANY more modifiers
-8 panels which can be changed mid-song (very fun laugh.gif )
-It CAN upgrade through internet, but they don't put out upgrades anymore E2.gif

.......heh I guess that's all I think of off hand but I'd certainly get a TM before even DDR 6th Mix biggrin.gif

but......Techno Motion does have sentinmental value to me because it's the first dance machine I EVER saw and EVER played on and it was the very first dance machine to show up at Seaside Heights (the Jersey Shore) back in 2001 when I began playing. The first DDR I ever played was a 3rd Mix Korean and I still loved TM more E15.gif .

Just because DDR has more songs doesn't mean a thing. I mean, look how successful Pump It Up is (over 10 mixes total) and the newest mix only has like 108 songs or somthing like that.

Oops kinda spaced off there.....oh well, may as well leave it. riiight.gif

I could easily put a lot of DDR and PIU songs on that machine with the correct steps and possibly the correct videos... thanks to F2 Systems leaving the Technomotion dev kit on the PIU Extra disc... so I wouldn't call it sucky in my possesion... and the game on it's own isn't sucky anyway...

actually there are 16 PIU arcade mixes.... the newest mix only has 101 songs... but out of the 200 or so that DDR Extreme has how many actually get played?

Yea I knew there were a lot, DDR Extreme has 248 songs but only 40-50 are commonly played or whored out (at least at the arcades around here) around here.

Buuuut I could also say the same for TM because I only play like 7-8 songs on it but i still hella love it E4.gif .

My favorite dance machines are as follows

1 - Techno Motion (I get to play this ONCE A YEAR (errr for a week in every year))
2 - Pump It Up (this is verey hard to find)
3 - Dance Maniax (this is even harder to find)
4 - DDR (the reason this is at the bottom is because its so overplayed and Extreme is getting very boring and thats all I find ANYWHERE around E2.gif )

Yea so I wish a Techno Motion would come around here somewhere but that'll never happen E2.gif

After they took out the Technomotion machine, they had the nerve 2 put PIU! in there frust.gif . All this anticipation and we get a PIU! machine. We wanted a DDR machine not PIU. They should have jus kept Technomotion in their. frust.gif

Guys, discussion about what your local arcade got should go in a regional forum, not the Techno Motion thread. E15.gif
