I'd have to go with Slave For You, the Thunderpuss mix, and Fields Of Love by ATB and York. Preferably the Promo Only cut. _________________

EDM and techno are not the same thing
all of the artists you listed are house, trance or breaks. _________________

Rockit - Herbie Hancock
Carwash - Rose Royce
Flashlight - Parliament
I think DDR needs songs like these. They are great to dance to and I bet they would be great for freestyle. _________________

The Darkness - I believe in a thing called love.
Every DDR song has that goofy factor. How much goofier can you get than old british people playing rock and roll?
The song is good and has a distinct beat. If it were cut up and shortened it could make an awesome double song. The solo could lead to some awesome steps.
My other one is Weapon of Choice by Fat Boy Slim. If youve ever seen Christopher Walken dance then you should see the song needs to be danced to. |

Geez, every song i hear on the radio or in my CD collection, i think about step patterns for and if it would be a good DDR song or not... working out Beginner/Light/Standard patterns in my head. =)
Im a big fan of old folks music (70s, 80s... hey, im 33, i grew up with this stuff).
'Dont mess around with Jim' by Jim Croche would be excellent. Steady clear beat and enough background for good standard/heavy fun.
'Blister' by Violent Femmes(?). Fun simple tune, and all skill levels would have the same fast :left :right ... :left :right at that spot in the song. |

Actually, I would like that also. But not the original Korean robots version, a new mix that's a little more true to it's zero wings roots.
I would say...
Utada Hikaru - Hikari(planet B, duh)
Ayumi Hamasaki - Trauma
Ayumi Hamasaki - Hanabi (dumonde mix)
Utada Hikaru - Colors
Mark Oh - Rebirth
Of course, one of the songs I really wanted to see made into a DDR mix is already scheduled, I had really hoped for Move Your Feet awhile ago. Dreams do come true! _________________
