its not cheating.

i do it sometimes. i just don't say anything about it lol.

in general, theres no advantage of using that technique.

but when it comes to repeated keys, jackhammers, fast doubles, it makes them twice as easy to hit.

Hell yeah it does! That's why I started doing it! Blur just wasn't hacking it with one set of arrows.

C V B N

I used to use the arrow keys, but sometimes my fingers would knock into each other, and BAM there goes my combo, causing me disgust... See, Disgust! disgust.gif

CVBN works awesome. the only thing thats a little weird are songs with alot of air, in time i will get used to it, but my perfect attack is AWESOME with those keys, i AAAed cartoon heros barbie speed mix on heavy with it

I play with two fingers from one hand on the arrow keys. Sometimes runs are awful on this setup. Only thing I came close is 3 greats on V ~for Extreme~, and it's tiring sometimes (like I can't play Max 300 all the way using two fingers). Sometimes I use the two index fingers, but it's bad on gallops and jumps.

I say we forget about finger techniques (ha-ha. Very funny) and do them on pad.

You may be rofl at that, but if you're laughing at that level, my ffr score is much higher than you on that level and almost every other E10.gif. So if you're bringing up ffr bring it E10.gif

I use four fingers, two hands. On the left hand, my middle finger rests on Left, pointer on Down. On my right hand, middle finger rests on Right, and pointer on Up.

So left hand takes care of Left and Down, and right hand controls Up, and Right.

Yeah, i really think playing piano helps. I play with one hand, two fingers. Three if I get stuck. Everyone tells me it's much easier to use two hands but I don't like it. The only problem I get from using the arrow keys is that my freezes screw up constantly, it was explained to me before why that happens but I forget now...
