you must have a video card with Video Out. Most new video cards nowadays have SVideo out, so a new video card may be in order, once you get that, you need an Svideo to RCA (assuming you dont have an Svideo port on your TV) and then turn on the display to show on the TV, it would be in the device driver properties of the Video card. |

well for me i have a laptop, and had a video card that had video out, but didnt know why it wouldnt work. i found out that you connect to the tv like a console, and then choose tv as a monitor, thats how i did it. _________________

Alright thanks. My video card has S-Video, I just have to get the S-Video to RCA adapter.
Alright one more thing. Is there anyway to get the audio to come out of the speakers in the TV? I have a Audigy 2 soundcard, and there is obviously not an RCA audio output. Anyone know of any way I could do this, or would I simply have to lug my computer speakers to the living room and hook them up there, which is obviously the hard way. |

Ok, i had sort of the same problem.
I am guessing you have a headphone jack. just buy one of those cables that are sort of like rca cables, but have only one jack at the end. stick that one into the headphone one, and then stck the white and red into the appropriate holes with the yellow one, hope that helps! _________________
