How do you create your own DWI file???

Having been into Beatmania lately... ive been wantin to make some DWI files from some of the songs. But I just dont know what to do to make them.

Ive been searching for instructions on sites and even tried to download programs that might let me do this.

I know that there might be a thread answering this question already but its far to big for me to read everyone. Maybe someone can link it or just tell me the process in making one.

but really to answer your oddly placed question just make a folder with your song in it and make a .dwi file and edit it in sm

How do you go about just making a blank dwi file to edit if Stepmania won't recognize it w/o a pervious dwi step file in there?
