Well...he says the UFO thing as a shameless attempt to make you look around for a UFO, as if someone was trying to distract you. From what I can tell, anyway

U.M.A. just doesn't make sense to me. Yeah I know what it stands for, but it still seems out of place. Probably the only thing he says that confuses me.

It's UMA, which stands for unidentified mysterious animal. Isn't this in the dictionary of ddr terms on this site?

UMA is a type of character on 3rd mix. I never use them. they look scary (woman body/legs then Anime-ish cat head, quiet big really)

Here's my extremely random (and probably way off) interpretation of "Hey, look, it a UFO!" I though he was talking about you as a player because your legs are moving so fast that you look like you're flying. He doesn't know who you are therefore making your unifentified.

To conclude, he's saying that you are a UFO.

BINGO! And here it is:
http://www.ddrfreak.com/library/dictionary.php

Oh, and I think he does actually say it's a UFO at times too. That's all here:

It is so cool what all you can find using the search button! E13.gif

Please try and look things up a bit first before you make new threads, it just clutters up the site. THANX E4.gif

Yeah, search is cool, but the guy was asking why the announcer starts yelling that stuff, not what the initials stand for. I still haven't seen a convincing answer to that question.

its because the announcer is crazy, Konami just likes to put random stuff in the songs. (thankgod the backgrounds arnt also as random...such as PumP) it just means your doing so well that your like no other.

and my fav quote by far on DDR is:
"you showed us...your ultimate dance. thankyou very much. i cant stop crying! *sob *sob"

and for PumP
"HEY! why dont you just get up and dance man?!"

I hate when the announcer says "ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you couldn't make it". I swear that whenever I hear it I shiver.

The backgrounds in some DDR songs are very random, [lmddr]moojoe. Like in Sandstorm the background has such exciting phrases as "in holiday cash" and "scream orange squash".

And when that announcer says "Do you have a cold? *cough cough*" I just wanna punch him in the face.
