Hey there fellas. I baught a redoctane metal dance pad exactly 2 months ago. After their week of daily replys to problems I had been having, I finally baught the USB control box for the pad...and well, long story short they dont answer me anymore, and their voicemail box is full, so no one can even get a hold of them.
Anywho, Im stuck with a metal dance pad, a USB control box for PC, and a Powered USB hub. Im just a little irritated because my warrantee wore off as I had absolutely no way to contact those people.....At any rate, my pad with the addition of a powered USB hub stays active for a while...but still shuts off. Also, the timing is off between my pad and the arcade...its just milliseconds...Whenever im lucky enough to complete a full song...I can AA almost any level 8...But when I go to the arcade, I find myself getting 50 perfects and 250 GREATS! Talk about great attack.....its on every song. So no AA, instead I get a C, maybe a B at best.
So those are my two problems. If someone could help me out here, Im really really desprate to resolve these issues.
1. The pad wont stay in dance mode even with a powered usb hub, updated drivers, newest version of SM, and USB 2.0 slots both front and back of my computer. (tried all the tutorials and messed with it for 20 hours+)
and 2. Whenever the pad is on long enough for me to finish a song, its timing is off....I cant tell that it is, but now that ive been "testing" and playing on my broken pad so long, im basically stuck with that timing until I can refix it...
Help, please help.... |

I wish I had a suggestion. I'm kind of in the same boat with my Cobalt Flux except I haven't even tried to get them into a computer yet. I've been trying to just extend the length of the cables by wireless (didn't work) or a simple extension cable (didn't work) before I can even REACH the USB ports of my PC.
Next I'll try a USB extension cable, but this means I couldn't use my pad for the PS2 (near the computer) so I'm stuck too.
You've tried everything I could think of...Continuing to attempt to harass the company is your best bet. Try it on a different pc too, if that is possible.

Thanks for the reply. I bet your pretty irritated too. At least a cobolt flux has a longgggg warrantee, and you know that since they are the best pad company, that they must also respond to customer complaints. Redoctane just runs to hide in their little hole of ignorance and irresponsiveness. At any rate, I tried this pad on another computer, but the same errors occured...im more interested on a way to fix the mat now, rather than messing with new adapters and spending even more money...Its just not fair how this could happen from the supposidly "best metal pad" company. I dont see how they could do this to someone....gah... |
