Does anyone know how to hook-up a PC to a DDR machine? So i can play my stepmania on the acade machine, any detailed help or web links would be appriciated.

Er... Are you sure you can even do that? I mean, there's an output for projectors and such, but other than that, you would have to be messing with the arcade machine's hardware. If you do that, you would have to put in a new Hard Drive, (I'm pretty sure arcades use specialized ones, not IDE or SATA) most likely you would have to rewrite a bit of the source code for the display settings, but not much if you have a good version of Stepmania that has auto-detect button signings.
All in all, it sounds like it would be quite an endeavor. More power to you if you can do it successfully, but I do know that it will be very difficult to do what is essentially an OS transition.

Note: Dance Dance Revolution machines do not have hard drives.

You can hook up a PC to a DDR cabinet. You just need some special hardware and a bit of tinkering.

http://www.ultimarc.com sells a VGA card and adapters for this purpose. I've seen it recommended that you use the J-Pac ffor this purpose.
