I just looked at the songlist... as a DDR veteran new to IIDX, the number of songs from DDR makes me happy. (And Max 300 makes me very afraid. I suck quite terribly at the game.

) 88 is a lot, but does that include unlockable songs? I have a very silly and irrational hope that someone high up decided "well this is the last one, the people must play Love Love Shine" and stuck it in. Candy and Love Love Shine are my favorite DDR songs, and Candy's already been in a doomed mix (BM: The Final, according to my source, which will never see home release) so I'm hoping Love Love Shine doesn't suffer the same fate.

Well.... I wouldn't hold my breath for Love <3 Shine. But you're right, I love that song.

I think a large part of the reason I love it is that it is such a happy/cheesy/bouncy song and the heavy step pattern is so happy/cheesy/bouncy itself. Goes well together. It's just fun.

But don't worry about the IIDX songs. When I first made the move from DDR to IIDX I was pleasantly surprised by how much the IIDX orriginals rulled. They'll grow on you very quickly.

Maybe I should start playing this game again. 7th Style has a good soundtrack. It's no Pop'n, but it's pretty good.

I just got my e-mail from Japanvideogames.com. I might get the game tomorrow. Finally we get to play a IIDX game at home that doesn't feel very outdated. The only thing about this game I don't like from looking at it is that theres too many repeats that are found in 6th style. It seems like half of the 6th style songs are in 7th.

I am tired of seeing I Was The One, Indigo Vision, and Absoute. Not enough songs from 3rd or 4th style that haven't been repeated. The 5th style selection of songs is okay. Except for Sync and V. I understand that they want to be as close to the arcade version as possible, but couldn't they have changed some stuff around?

For those that have the game or know, are we able to see the song videos full screen like 6th style? Music Clip Mode?

I don't remember if anyone mentioned it, but Japanvideogames.com is now selling IIDX arcade style controllers, the offical ones. The newest batch. For at least $500 though.

I'm fine with having Sync and V back; I play them a lot and it will be nice not to have to swap disks whenever I want to play them.

7th Style has the coolest interface after 10th Style's. I'm not a fan of orange but IIDX makes it sexy.

I'll be painting all weekend, so hopefully I'll be able to unwrap the package between strokes. I'm so stoked about Master's Mode.

::EDIT:: Oh yeah and for Mr.T(Take Me Higher) I love that song!

I am trying to make this weekend fly by fast by playing some games I have yet to finish watching some anime, and hanging out with some friends. I can't believe some people got their games today. I wish I could too. My game is being held somewhere at least an hour from me.

So, we've been playing about an hour, and either I'm retarded and don't see them (which is possible... if they're the same color... it IS late at night), or we aren't getting any unlocks.

So, how do we unlock songs? Does it have to do with one of those modes that have lots of japanese that I can't read? Anyone know? KTHXBYE.
