I don't know her scores, but I just played in a tournament two days ago where in competition, I got 6 greats on Breakdown (best is four), 4 on Sweet Sweet <3 Magic, and 7 on Trip Machine Climax (although my best is 2 )...
Now, I can understand that there are probably girls better than me in the US, but, I feel I'm pretty good and I'm not ignorant enough (anymore) to say, "Hi, I'm the best girl in the country." For a reason. I learned a long time ago that most of THE BEST don't even post on these forums. There's a chick in Columbia who can get SDGs on Max300. That sure as hell kicks the butt of anything else I'm capable of (I've only AA'd it).
Anyways, just standing up for myself...
EDIT: OH YEAH, and that doesnt even include the girls that are in the Pacific Northwest that don't post here that have gotten scores like 7 greats on Xenon, 9 on Fantasy (Max 1 version), etc. |
Listen Hun.
Your are NOT as good as Lady Mercury. Your pretty good, but your not even close. She's blackflaged all those songs (that means 1 great), and AAed Max300 and Paranioa survior.
Compared to Cali girls, your okay. Keep practicing...you'll get better.
PS. I know this cuz I played right next to her [lady mercury]
EDIT: and 7 greats on Xenon and 9 on Fantasy is nothing special. Try 2 or 3. You need to come to california, you might learn something. |

Once again I LOL. Don't forget that I've SEEN Ms. Mercury play with my own eyes. Multiple songs, multiple sets. If she had gotten single digit greats on anything, I would more than likely agree with what you're saying... but alas, she didn't. Like I said, this was in February, so perhaps she's gotten insanely better since then... so I wouldn't really know.
Anyways. Until I see pics of her AAAing insanely hard stuff (the most recent think I've seen is her AAA of freckles... woo), I refuse to believe that she's so much better that I would "have something to learn from her" LOL. This post just makes me LOL all over the place.
Yeah, I guess you have Cali pride like whut or something. LOL. _________________

Again, who are you talking to? I shouldn't assume, but I'm gonna assume that this post is directed towards me. And since you're new, I'm gonna let you slide. And BTW, that post earlier was not a flame.

Ok then, what are you? A little girl? |
let it slide? psh. gee thanks.
i'm not one of those women, meaning the women you referred to in your post earlier stating that:
"Ok, most of you women have the mindset of "girls can do anything that guys can do" and want equal rights and all that jazz, and that's kewl, but the minute war comes up, some of you start gettin all scared and whatnot saying women shouldn't go to war kuz ur women"
i can explain it further by saying i didn't mean that i'm not a woman, for that i am. i meant i am not one of those women with that mindset.
it's ok, i still respect your seniority. _________________

Talent DOES NOT come from what falls in between your legs, but rather, your sense of intelligence, skill, and practice.
The rest was edited for content in the fact that all things have been delt with. _________________

There are always better female players than the next one. There are always better male players than the next one. Trying to flame SaeNoDa over there about Lady Mercury being better, or whatnot, is just going out of league.
We're not going to point males out and be like "Bemaniac/Take/Yasu/Aaron/Pickles is better than you. Try playing against one of them and seeing how good you think you are then." (I'm not directing this at anyone in particular, but comparing people is just pointless, really. We all know there are people better than us at the game, there always will be.) _________________

Tell JSB about that...
Anyways, you, my lady, are absolutely correct! The whole comparing and "omfg she's bettar than j00, j00 need to learn from da mastarz!!!1111" thing is ridiculous. It seems like there's something called "mutual respect" that has been forgotten by a lot of people. I don't necessarly mean here, because this is happenning everywhere. It's just a shame that some people believe they don't have to respect fellow players just because they can perform at a higher level...
Just think about it... you're at work, and then someone gets hired and happens to do your job better than you do. Would you rather have the guy against you and get fired, or establish some form of mutual respect, and maybe improve with the guy's help?
That's what mutual respect is... even in a competitive environment. And make no mistake about it, one's workplace can be just as competitive as DDR is... _________________
