I dunno about the hand holding, to cutsie for DDR. Being that its so masculine to dance around to songs like cutie chaser, but I do know that it happens on accident sometimes, and thats no bueno when you're dancing next to a fat, balding, extremely sweaty, middle aged man.
no, not good.
Back onto topic, I know that, dumb as it may be, I really enjoy showing off my b/f since he's doing 10 footers now. Dunno. Call it the child within. _________________

Yeah with songs like;
"It's Raining Men" "Little Boy" (Boy on Boi Mix) "In The Navy '99" "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" "Believe" "Y.M.C.A" "Go West"
DDR is soooooo masculine.
I'll be the first to admit, I met 2 of my BOYfriends playing DDR in Vegas ^.^
I even run a DDR community for gayDDR'ers

My boyfriend plays DDR, or at least, used to all the time.
He'll sit at my house and play on the home mixes all day if given the chance but he feels embarrassed to play in public with me because I'm on Heavy and he can only play Beginner and some Light. He says that he feels heavily overshadowed. I keep trying to get him to play on the arcade machine and have succeeded twice. Blah. It sucks cause I know he enjoys to play and likes playing on the machine but just won't. _________________

I play DDR with someone else's girlfriend. Just have to help her stay in practice when she's in town since the nearest DDR machine to where she lives is about an hour away. _________________

Most the guys I've dated has never heard of DDR. Which is quite sad really. But I meet a lot of them at the arcade. _________________

I got my g/f into DDR before we started dating, but now she plays it all the time... she even has a better home pad than me... She's not as good as me though, shes on Light/Standard(shes only been playing for about a month), and I'm Heavy. She swears she's gonna beat me one day. _________________

I actually met my boyfriend through DDR. I go and meet him up at my arcade to play at least 2-3 times a week. That way, I get to do the 2 things I love the most. (Wow, that last line can be read really wrong, lol). But anyways, it is just so much fun, and I'm so happy that I met everyone I did through DDR. I <3 you Starman! _________________

Back before anyone in my arcade (myself included) was any good this couple used to come in a bit. I only ever saw them there two or three times, but considering their attitudes, I'm not suprised.
I went to play The Least 100 Seconds and forgot to turn off 1.5x, which was a bit much for any of us at the time, and when I finished I got a round of applause. The girl of the couple bitterly said under her breath something about me memorizing it, but I heard it. I just looked at her and shook my head solemnly. What a snot.... _________________

I play DDR with my boyfriend (and some other friends) when I'm in Waterloo. I didn't meet him by playing DDR, but I got as much into DDR as I did because I became good friends with him when I went to UW and he and another of our friends were always playing. _________________

Wow, this is an old one...
I enjoy playing DDR with my wife. I've driven her insane with it, but I know she still enjoys it every now and then. If you couldn't tell, my wife would be sangresnextboo. It has been a long time since she has posted on DDRfreak. I kinda drove her insane with this too. _________________

I met my boyfriend (Corey | RanciD on this forum) at the arcade we played DDR at sometime in November. We had both been going there since we started college (me at Boston U, him at Northeastern) but we had never run into each other since we went different days and times.
He and I are decently close skillwise and our DP% on NNR is decimal points off, but he beats me out in stamina and the like. Now we both play ITG too, and that's fun as well.
It's fun having someone to play with of nearly equal skill as you because you have someone to challenge you and have fun with.
And he's a great boyfriend, too. <3 |
