Just to clarify, that song is an Ayumi Hamasaki song. Not sure what the title is, but I've heard it before, and it has a ridiculous number of remixes. None of her songs have ever been in DDR or any other Bemani game, though.

Actually, to clarify...Ayumi Hamasaki has been featured in almost every volume of Karaoke Revolution: J-Pop. (There's 8 or 9 in total.) And those are BEMANI games.

Whoops, thanks for the save there Zajitarrius! laugh.gif Indeed, Ayumi songs are on that game, many volumes of the game in fact. I completely forgot about the Japanese Karaoke Revolution games which are part of the Bemani line, even though from what I've heard, they're not really like your standard Bemani games. They just sort of turn your PS2 into a karaoke machine like the kind you find at karaoke places in Japan.

That was the worst thing i have ever saw ever!!! geez, if they were gonna do a ddr impresonation thing, they shoulda made it look at least a little challenging, and then ya! well, all i can say is, grrr!

I'm prety sure it was supposed to be a parody. Even if Fox wanted to use a real DDR machine, it might have been to expensive, or maybe Konami didn't want their machine used like that. When South Park used DDR, they used it more to define the character than put the machine as the focus of the episode, which Konami might have not cared about.

why is it such a bad thing to be thought of as "homosexual?"

If you go to comcast.net in one of the little slideshow screenish things, they have "lose weight playing video games" in small print on one of them under the list of little websites you can go to and then a window opens up and it shows a video of a lady named Tanya something who lost 95 lbs playing DDR without changing her diet or anything. they showed her playing too. i think she was playing jam & marmalade? and then the talkshow host played breakdown (on standard) with her.

Saw what might be DDR in a movie trailer for 'Napoleon Dynamite':

http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox_searchlight/napoleon_dynamite.html

It's about 3/4 into the clip.

Thursday night at my job (Walgreens) is what we call DDR night. On the muzak system fed to my store, every thursday they play Ordinary World, So Many Men, Have You Ever Been Mellow, Sky High, The Reflex, and a few other's I can't remember right now... Sad thing is when I'm working in the cosmetics department and while I'm dusting/facing, I'm dancing around and halfway doing the steps. laugh.gif

I take a TV class where we have to get some pictures, organize a montage, and put it to music. I put mine to Burning Heat. The whole school, all 1300 hundred of us hear it on the announcements.

DDR makes a cameo in the Yu-gi-oh the sacred cards game

Go to the arcade in the game and you'll see 2 ppl playing on it.....
They also have better defined music than any other part of the game!
I thought to myself wouldn't it be cool if they used an actual DDR song for that room... well, THEY DID!!!!!

They did a MIDI style rendition of Miricle Moon (L.E.D. Style Mix)
All I have to say is that room has the best music in the whole game!! LOL
I never woulda expected the highest quality music in tht game wouldn't be Yu-Gi-Oh related, but DDR!!! E4.gif

While watching Wildboyz, the episode where they went to Kenya with Wee Man, they played the original Tribal Dance from 2 Unlimited while playing dung beetle soccer. It was pretty cool.
