Heya. I just got me a pad, and a Usb adaptor(Smart Joy Plus). I installed the drivers it came with, plugged in the pad and switched to dance mat mode worked great with Stepmania. Unfortunatly when I restarted my computer Windows detected new hardware and installed a crap load of drivers that I obviously did not need. Now my computer does not register my pad! I have tested the adapter with a normal playstation controller, tryed the pad on a friends playstation and there both working good.

I've tryed re-installing the drivers, and unistalling a bunch from the Device Manager in XP but it will not respond to the pad. I read some of the other threads but I'm not using a parrelle port.. In device manager i have a bunch of HID-Compliant devices and game controllers... I know this isnt really a techincal help forum but i'm not sure where else to turn. If anybody knows what drivers I need and do not need, or even just a screen shot of someone elses device manager would be helpful...
