Okay, I've been trying and trying to get this fixed but have got little answers and not much feedback on what could fix this. Before the server crashed, I could post replies, view forums, and do everything a regular user could do. Now everytime I go to a forum when I'm logged in I get php errors instead of the actual forum layout and such. For example, I am automatically logged in when I come to DDR Freak forums but it won't let me visit the forums (php errors) so I log out and then it shows up for me. After that I can post a reply, but it usually takes a good hour before it gets submitted correctly. Now I have logged in on other computers and it works fine for me, but while I'm here on my own computer I get endless errors and can't do anything. I know its not my actual account, so I think it might have something to do with you IP banning people. I know you have atleast banned someone that lives near me (Jingles) who has a similar IP address and all I can think of it screwing with me when I'm logged in. I DON'T get errors when I'm logged out, but when I log in, I can't see anything. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to be active again. _________________

Do you have WinXP, and are you using some new IPv6 options? _________________

John, as i told you before i have similar problems, because i randomly clear my internet cookie folder, thus gives you a new IP address, now some of the times, i have been put under an IP that has been banned from the forums, so as long as i am under that IP i cannot view anything phpBB related on the boards. But it takes a simple cookie clear to be able to view them again, but then again i have to re log into all the acounts i have online, which is about 13 different log ins, and sometimes on this site it takes me, well the longest i have had is about 15 minutes for it to post the message, and i gaurentee it is not my computer, or internet connection, i have dsl, and 2048 MB of pc 3200 RAM, so it is not the random access memory, and my hard drive, 160 GB is not over loaded at all so that would not slow anything on my computer...im baffled

I'm on my friend's computer because mine wouldn't work even when I was logged out. Anyway, I am using windows XP. Not sure what IPv6 is but I've used several different browsers (Mozilla, FireFox, IE) and have gotten the same thing. Clearing my cookies does nothing, it still doesn't work even if I do clear them. _________________

Can someone post how to look at your IPv6 settings on WinXP, and how to disable it? I don't have WinXP, so I can't really help much, although I suspect it has something to do with it. _________________

At command prompt:
ipv6 uninstall
Just get rid of it now. The XP code is pre-release, and you shouldn't need IPv6 yet.
If it was installed, you should receive the message:
"Uninstalling...
A reboot is required to complete this action."
If it wasn't installed, you'll see:
"Microsoft IPv6 Developer Edition is not installed.
Succeeded."
Also, if you have the "Quality of Service" service installed, pull that out. It could be messing up the HTTP tunnel.
Control Panel -> Network Connections, and then right-click on your network connection and select Properties. You should have "Client for Microsoft Networks" and "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)", and probably "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks". If you see "QoS Packet Scheduler", click on it and click Uninstall. _________________
