anything that will work with your playstation. it's all about whether you have the right adapter. _________________

Post here. In general it isn't an issue of pad compatibility, it's an issue of adapter compatibility. _________________

Unfortunately, there are some...
It's too bad that people who simply steal the game and its music are still rewarded with the compatibility of the dance pads with a PC. |

Okay, it's comments like this that really bug me. This is a forum for people who are mindlessly HOOKED on this game. I personally have every mix on my computer for Stepmania. Yet, I have both Max and Max2 and plan to buy Extreme (even though I already have all it's songs...months before release). So there is no way in which I am stealing this game and I'm sure most of the people who play Stepmania are the same way. How can I be stealing? Because I have a mix that isn't available in the US and won't work in my PS2? Or because I have MP3s that aren't available on CDs in the US? I'd buy 'em if they were available here. We all support this game in one way or another. We play at the arcade, we buy the mixes at home, we join the insane fan base, etc. Stepmania was also created as a tool to influence creativity. Some of the best steps I've played are homemade DWIs. The game was made to satisfy our ridiculous DDR needs, not to steal the game. However, do people use the good for bad? Yes...but I really doubt it's that significant of an issue. Almost every Stepmania person I've spoken to have both Max's. |
