First off I would like to, once again, stress how I cannot believe that this stupid topic is still going on.

And back on topic: I think some of you kids need to go to places like California or Colorado that has very skilled FEMALE DDR PLAYERS *GASP* Yes, we are women...OMG we have boobs! And we can play 10 footers...WOW! I don't know, I like seeing new girl players, just cause there isn't a whole lot of us, but for people to think that we're not as good...  Yeah, thats some bull. So there are girls/women of varying skill levels who play DDR. Let them play without gawking at their physical attributes. Probably one of the reasons you *don't* see too many play in public.

Maybe if you were a girl with big boobs and could video games and liked to play video games, you would understand. Really i don't care if they like looking at us play. If they don't touch im fine. i like it when i have a big crowd of people looking at me play. Now whats getting me mad is that guys are saying girls shouldn't play cause it a guy game thats not tru. where i live i think there are about 20 to 30 girls play and all of them play heavy and they are very good. I think ddr is more of a girl game then anything. Some of us girls are as good as some guys or better. So nobody shouldn't be saying that girls shouldn't play DDR.  |

No, actually, I have the 'Girls can do things just as well as guys and shouldn't have to be sexually harassed while doing it' mindset. I think most of the guys who have replied to this topic have the mindset that 'Guys are better at really playing...girls are just there to look at'.

I'm a girl, my two closest girl friends play and there are a few regulars at the arcade i go to. I can't dance nearly as well as the top guys there, but another girl dance dancer has yet to beat me.
I know a lot of other girls who love to play at my house but are too shy to play in public.

The party I was at Friday night had about 15 girls, and only three guys, myself included.
So, yes. There was a lot of female DDR-ing there, along with my first attempt at DDR with a dance-pad! Woot! |
