I have been meaning to place a bid on some pads for the past two days, but haven't gotten around to it. Tomorrow is the day. I will let everyone know how they are once I get them. Thanks for all the help. |

|
|
Hey guys!
I've made my own soft pad modification guide:
www.angelfire.com/pro2/softpadmod
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know and I'll update it. I feel that my guide is very thorough and has lots of pictures to help people out. |

If its works for a RO then it'll technical work for *any* ps2 pad. |

The mod I described on my page will most likely NOT work for deluxe style pads such as the redoctane. It is only thin, soft, foldable pads like the DPR2.
[Edit] Oops, thought you guys were talking about something else... Never mind this. [/Edit] |

I got mine at Gamestop in my local mall... other than that, I don't know where you could get them. The website is www.nakiusa.com. |

Whats DP2R stand for? From the picture, it looks like the crappy nonignition soft pads. If you want some for cheap, there are tons of them on ebay. You could prob get two for around $10 more or less. |

My original REAL (I know for a fact) Konami was actually defective. I had it for a few months, and then the down arrow didnt work, and my O worked as the up arrow.
So I got a DPR2 and so far, its works VERY good! I didnt mod it either. The only problem I found with it, is when you very first get it, you have to hit the O and X buttons slightly harder then the thers (you actaully haveto put weight on then, not just tap them). But it goes away after a while.
Yeah, thats it.
Heh, sorry for saying so much. |
