paul oakenfold = trance, poopy trance actually

anyway, same as most other people here. i've always been extremely passionate about electronic music. however, ddr has given me a few songs where i found the full versions and added them to my track collection biggrin.gif

I;ve always liked Techno. DDR was just an odd form of it. I felt DDR is more of 'snipets' of WOULD BE techno songs.

Ntohing will beat Prodigy and Aphex Twin.

Once I started listening to electronica quite a few years ago, it has been my love. I'm a huge fan of all electronic music, though psytrance is my current favorite. I still listen to some other types of music, but everyone knows I usually have techno playing 24/7. IM all the way. Converting friends is always fun.

DDR has definitely affected/damaged my taste in music. A friend of mine was always trying to get me into techno/house, and I must confess that since I started playing some on the dance machine I've seen that it's more than just synthesizer loops.

Less defensible is the way it's gotten me into JPop and Eurobeat. A friend once said "I can see why you like the game, but doesn't the music drive you insane?". I really like the music - though I can't remember if I did before playing......

DDR doesn't have many good techno or trance songs in it, I would say it makes me love Eurobeat more.

a year ago, I could even begin to tolerate any form of techo.
But now that I have DDR, I've learned to like MOST of the songs, and now have a brand new Trance fetish.
Soy un trance whore. drool.gif
I've been borrowing a CD called "Trance Nation" with ATB, I've learned to enjoy it, not for sleep though, can't stay still.

i wasn't a person who even cared about music before DDR. DDR Gave me a sense of good music.

and around the time Max 2 US. came out, i played Will I? - Ian Van Dahl, and i really liked it. i bought a Trance Party CD, and loved it... after a while, i found myself buying Ian Van Dahl's Ace... best CD ever (in my oppinion riiight.gif)

I always had a thing for techno, but now I really like it. Fast, slow, psychadelic, trance, they're all good.

Of course, there's also J-pop, but let's not dwell on that. E15.gif

DDR has definately given me a reason to like trance and Eurobeat music. If you were to even ask me what it was before I started playing, i would have just looked at you funny and walked away. DDR has made me a changed woman laugh.gif E13.gif

How can you stop psytrance? I haven't stopped listening to it for 2 years now, and I still consider IM's stuff some of the best (ever). And, Its tough to beat out the likes of Hallucinogen, Astral Projection, Sphongle, etc!

if anything it brought me closer to house but i had already developed an interest in it before playing ddr

my first exposure to house was a cd called 100% deep house - 6 years later i still listen to it and love every minute

curiosity turned me on to true techno (www.drumcode.se) and if anything away from the trashnce that DDR promotes (the 3 songs in ddr that actually are techno: holic, dxy and stoic are good however)

oh and i declare my eurobeat side to initial d
