Play-asia now lists 7th Style at $79.90. Do you think they will jack up the price for those who preordered way back. I preordered and under My Account on their site it still shows it at $59.90. That will be awesome if it stays that price for those of us who preordered before the price change on their site.

There's a thread over at Bemanistyle that goes into what's happening.
Apparently you can get a discount or something by going with Play-Asia? I'm not real sure. |

Apparently its not legal for them to jack the price up so you don't have to worry about them. From what I gathered it was a favor to the players for Play-Asia to offer the game at a lower price and also for more people to choose them. With the release date closing in they decided to bump it up to the actual price so they would actually start making money. Since they jack up the prices of other things they didnt really have to worry about losing money.

well i didnt have the money back when it was 55$ so my total cost was 93 - a 10$ off cupon.. making it 83(after shipping) but i dont care. they are relitvly relible like lik-sang i have never ordered somthing and got a damaged or no show item.

has play-asia taken out the money for the pre-order for anyone else??? i just found out that 79 dollars got taken out from my account today and they claim to take the money out ONLY when they ship the order.
just wondering if this has happened to anyone else so that i don't start to worry

That's called a 'hold'. They have reserved the amount of your purchase even though they have not shipped it. This is so that they will get their money from the bank.
This protects them in the case that you ordered the game and had a debit/credit limit of $500 at the time of purchase, but you decided to go on a shopping spree to the tune of $450 after before they shipped the game. Now, they run your card through the system and you are now short. They don't send the game, but send you a nastygram in email to say "You have insuffiecnet funds." This makes it so that you get your game and they get payment. You can cancel your order now and see the amount of purchase 'magically' appear back in your account or avaiable credit limit.
If you have more questions about how it works, you should call your credit card company or bank to explain it better. |

Um...Play Asia could do what they want...I had ordered 2 copies when it was still $59 US. Unlike NCS, they decided to give the earlier pr orders the cheaper price and rase the price for people who ordered it after.
If that was NCS they would have cancelled the ordered and told you to order it again at the higher price...its not illegal to cancell your order. And they though the price of the game was going to be the regular amount. They did not facter in the konamistyle price and the price to get it from them to HK and then from HK to you...where the heck did you hear that it was so they can get pre orders???

thats for EMS shipping which will get it to NA in a few days rather then the cheap shipping that can take up to 2 weeks. I think you get what you pay for...

The price for preorders from play-asia is going up. You get a choice, +$20 US or cancel.

I emailed them to find out when they will be recieving the game to ship out, and what was the date change to the 18th and I got this reply:

I got the email too and i'm sticking w/ it as well cuz i was part of the first batch and all, there is nooooooooooooooo way i'm gonna miss out on this, i'm paying my $20 shipping so who cares  |
