I know all DDR players like to either play alone or challenge others like the biggest rival or maybe the next 10 footer song. But do they play with their boyfriend/girlfriend?

Seen if before, however I'm pretty sure you don't care but on the machines you have charecters or on the original psx ddr's you played with charecters that where couples like Rage and Emi.... I still love that system and they took it away >.<

Most of the people I see playing DDR are high school guys or twenty-somethings whose only love is DDR. Occasioanlly, I'll see a couple come in to watch or something, maybe one will even play a bit, but rarely do I see both of them go up there.

It's a shame, since DDR is a good game for couples to play.

Actually, my girlfriend and I play DDR almost everyday together. It's great being able to play a game you love and be with someone you love at the same time E4.gif

LOL: first off, wtf are you talking about dude, lol, he asked about couples playing, you say "seen if before (which makes no sense, then you talk about the dancers. And not to mention the horrible grammer "that where"

i'm sorry fer riffing on you dude, but i had to, im guessing a long night, i've had them myself. E13.gif

I see a couple playing every once and a while at the arcade, and if i had a gf, id love to.

His final question in his last line of text said "Have you ever seen boyfriends/girfriends playing DDR together" I said I've seen it before. The charecters bit I just stated the old system with charecters dancing in the backround where matched in couples as just an extra fact that I just put in for the heck of it and I said I liked it before when they had them in.

Your right I was up for some time night and it's still effecting me.

I'll play with my boyfriend sometimes (haha, that sounded really suggestive). But seriously, I say sometimes because we different tastes when it comes to the songs we play. Also, I started playing DDR about 7 months before he did, so I'm generally doing harder/more complicated songs.

I've seen quite a few DDR couples, though most of them don't play the game as much anymore. If I had a boyfriend, I'd play Bemani with him.

This is a good example of me and my grilfriend. I am not great or any thing but I am fairly good. I can pull a 9 footer every so often and what not. My girlfriend used to hate DDR but one day I talked her into playing a little with me and just like me she was hooked. laugh.gif She isnt bad for only playing a few months but Yes, We are now a DDR couple. Friends often make fun of us saying that our dates are going to the arcade but hey, we have fun. E1.gif

I play DDR with my boyfriend every so often but I don't get to see him very much. I can't wait for the ability to play IIDX with him so he can kick my ass at it -_- because I suck at IIDX.

Well just seeing a couple play DDR yesterday and the previous sites of couples in the past, either one of them is really experienced and the other one is a beginner.

blink.gif I have a relationship like this, but it's fun to teach. nerd.gif

I've been able to get my boyfriend to play DDR with me a couple of times. I found out that he and his one friend would play so that they'd get better. I've been playing for over a year, so I'm the one doing all the crazy stuff, and he's there stepping on one step for every 10 I do. lol laugh.gif Now, whenever we're there at the arcade, he'll ask if I want to play, and we'll go up there and play. It's pretty fun. E4.gif I have seen an online clip of a couple playing together, so I dunno if that counts or not. but that's about it. well, actually, in atlanta, I saw this girl and guy playing, but they weren't going out. If you want to count that as a "couple", then you can.

I haven't seen many ddr couples in my area (NE). I seriously only know one relationship where they sometimes play ddr together. I would never bring my g/f to play ddr with me. Heh, she would probably hate it goog.gif Especially since I get all sweaty from the tens and occasionally get mad at the game. That's not a good thing for your g/f to see riiight.gif

I've seen some, though they usually are both begginers in the arcade, who are mildly curious and nothing more.
On the other hand, I adore playing DDR with my boyfriend. Though sometimes hearing the ridiculous amount of tapping from his feet, he's on heavy whilst I am on standard, can really through a girl off. Heh.
So yes, we are rare but we do exist.

The last three girls i've dated have all played ddr biggrin.gif (including the one i'm with now) It's not something you see alot of, because for the most part ddr is a male dominated thing, but i know 3 married couples that play, and a few boyfriend/girlfriend pairs that play together as well

i started playing and my GF was supportive and watched, but never really did anything. but now she's as addicted as i am. so it's cool. i can drag her to the arcade and not feel bad, hell, she's dragging me there more than me her. lol

I would never date a DDR chick. I consider DDR more of a friend thing then a time to hang with my girlfriend. disturb.gif
