I love ctrl-alt-del comics (you should read the rest, if you haven't already). Honestly, I took it as a joke. I know people think that DDR players look weird. I usually just laugh it off. Whether or not it was meant to be offensive though, I have no idea.

Hmm... saw those a while ago, and quite frankly, I think it shouldn't be taken seriously. It was meant as a joke originally.

Long ago, I've been taught one of life's most valuable lessons: if you ain't worth a laugh, you ain't worth much. So I don't see how I could take that petty joke as an offense. I mean, it's not going like "OMFG DDR ISH TEH SUK!!!11!1 LAYYZDR GNU!!!!!!!" or anything...

Well I do have a sense of humor and I got the joke... It ammused me for the fact people who either don't know it or don't want to poked a little fun at a game I like... But it didn't phase me.. C'mon I play Magic: The Gathering Card Game and People Dis on the Yu-Gi-Oh guys yeah the jokes were good but I could care less... I mean it's really no different than me making fun of repeating sport games (too many of) and people who love them agree but really don't care...

Anyway if that doesn't makes sense it's VERY simple.
-It's a Joke...
-If not I don't think there's going to be a Mothers Against Dance Dance Revolution group going around with signs, torches, pick forks and ruining machines... (God it'll be like KKK... IT's worse enough for being Black

Nah just kidding I don't care about them either)
-If there was... It would be computer geeks and lazy people who search the entire house for the remote just so that they don't have to change the channel on the TV set.

(Again joking if you didn't catch that!)
-People who play the game make fun too because it's funny as hell.
-A cheesy comic with illustrations like that SHOULD NOT alter one's life style, nor have possibility to have any player get offensive. (Hell I think that was funny... Not to make me pee or hurt my sides but a smirk)
-And whoever said about it being a religion is right... If you treat ANY video game like a God then that's sad... (Except when you joke around because it's a exaggeration of saying "I love that game.") But yeah It's a game get over it.

well #1 i hate it when people judge things that they have probably never plaied.. no beat.. ddr has beet if your on something other than beginner and thats probably why they thought it didnt have beat.
#2 not have they probably never plaied it but theyre making fun of it i common.

And to others who got offended by the first strip, just don't let it get to ya. Letting mere stuff as images 'n words on a screen get to you simply exposes weakness, in my opinion. I've learned that when one has no solid arguments to back their libelous claims, then it isn't worth your time/energy to argue/get mad at them.

It's like if I went and called someone "gay" for the sole purpose of ticking him off. Do I have any solid basis for that? No, so my claim would be worthless, and should be shruged off.

Personally, I'm not really concerned if someone finds that first comic strip offensive or not. I'm just saying that because I once was getting offended by almost everything that didn't suit well with me, and it just made me bitter and unhappy at that time. Learn to shrug off worthless claims, and trust me, you'll feel a lot better.

But hey, I'm not telling you something you don't already know.
