OK I GOT THE GUITAR controller TO WORK IN DTX MANIA

Ok so I got it to work. It works perfectly, just one question. Since I have never played guitar freaks what does the guitar symbol mean. I believe it is the wail key, but I'm not sure what that is in context of the games controller.

that is the wail key. Just like in the arcade, you have to lift the guitar vertically to hit it. Though i've only used a magic guitar at home, basically you have to swing the thing to get it to register

In the arcade, you only have to raise it slightly more vertical than resting it on your shoulder. You shouldn't have to "swing" it.... unless the home controllers are different.
