What's everyone's first experience with this song? Do you like it? And anythign else interesting you have seen or heard on/about this song.

For me it was one of the first 2 songs I playyed at the arcade. I just love the song. It's been 4 months now since i first started and i play Std. now. But I still play the song on light because I like the steps on it and it's fun to freestyle on.

I practice the "Butterfly spin" to get myself to spin on a few songs....

butterfly is cirtainly a popular song (almost to the point of overuse) but my first experience with it was.... well... practicly my first song. First time i ever played ddr was at my cousins house (back in the good ol days of ragnarok online beta testing) he had an imported 3rd mix so i tried it out... even though butterfly pwned me frown.gif

First time I played the song (upswing mix) was on a 3rd Mix Korean 2 in 2002. The machine was set on a difficulty 8 and I failed instantly. disgust.gif

I got Best Hits a few weeks later and started to be able to play the original version of the song. At the time, playing anything above 2 feet was difficult for me so playing it on Basic at 3 feet seemed like a big deal to me.

It's a good song to start off with. I did. It's good rythm. But yeah, I can't stand when people pick songs over and over again! frust.gif

I try to play it once every time I go to the arcade. I also enjoy singing it at the top of my lungs. biggrin.gif

I can't stand the original mix of this. Probably because it was the first song I played and failed. But the upswing mix is awsome, though I still don't like to hear it too often.

I wish they still had Upswing mix on Extreme.

At the moment I am really loathing the Challenge steps of Butterfly, because I can't AA them for the life of me.

The first song I ever played on DDR! Saw a kid doing Boom Boom Dollar and I had to try that game E15.gif ! It gets stuck in my head sometimes, but I hardly ever play it because I've heard/watched it so many times.

You know...I doubt most people realize just how much that song gets played. And it is VERY good at getting stuck in your head...*shudders*

Still, fun steps E4.gif .

I think it's one of the first I played. It just sounds good. I love everything about this song. KOG remix is good too E1.gif

I've played a few times on our arcade's 4th mix plus machine, but only the upswing mix. It's a fun song, but it's got some crazy crossovers.

Damn double stepping.
