Where are all of the girl ddr players?
i have only seen 5 or 6 at the arcade i go to. i thought alot of girls were dancers cus they wear sweaters to school that say stuff like got dance. i think that girls should liven up therye dancing and video game skills and come play ddr! besides l like watching girls ddr...

Actually, there are a lot of DDR girls out there, maybe there aren't that many at your arcade, though. And girls do have video gaming skills. (I've been a video gaming nut since I was young) Just keep looking, and you'll probably find more DDR girls. Heck, if there are 5 or 6 at your arcade playing DDR, that's more than at my local arcade.
And is watching girls dance to songs with lots of jumps really that entertaining?  |

and i have seen like ONE girl player out of all the times i've been to the arcade. and she plays standard. im just as confused as u are  |

Well, there are many girls who play where I am from. I like it when girls play Cowgirl, for some reason, but truly hate it when two of the girls play Saints go Marching in all three times. Anyways, that is about it for right now.

| At my arcade, almost EVERYONE who plays DDR is a girl... it's kinda weird really. Most of 'em play standard, but there are 2 that can handle heavy 8's. It's always me, two other guys, and about 10 girls. But hey, I'm not complaining. |

For shame trying to bring the twins into it. Put that head down. I need to put my head down in shame as well. I have gotten better. I like looking at the gal's face now. It is quite a better look than the twins any day of the week. Just being able to see the gal smile in triumph.
Anyways, I have had two relationships that involve them playing DDR, and it never last both times,  . I guess I am not worthy.

| sorry i know its been like a year since u posted this but.. i have to say that there are lots of girls playing... only like 5 that are really good... n not all play on standard. i for one... play on heavy and can pass a few 10 footers. if u go to AI or camalot... there are pretty good girl ddr players. plus the boobs get in the way... |

I'm a girl and I can only play at standard so I have nothing to boast about I went to the arcade today since my sis and I were shopping at the mall and there's an arcade there. Only three guys so I got to play in a jiffy. I talked to one of the guys a bit there and he said I'm 'bout the second girl he's seen at the arcade. I myself have seen a couple other girls play but the majority of people that play at the arcade are guys. Still, I don't care how many guys or how many girls are there. Just the fact that I'm having fun is what counts  |

You seem to find me no matter where I am. Oh well, I get them a year younger all the time. And you are not dysfunctional. It was called Bad Timing.
Anyways, it is hard in the great day in age of society to see more females playing games because the guys are just in it for the eye-candy. I should know, I did that all the time when working at the mall arcade. The bosses would comment "The greatest thing about working at the mall is all the pretty/beautiful girls/ladies working around. That is why we have glass windows..." and yada yada yada.
Majority of the guys who usually come to the arcade would wait until a lady comes and tries the game only to fail. The pads at the arcade suck. It is a four year pad hanging on life support. That is why DDRists were happy to hear of another place that is only open four hours at a time, costs $5 to get in through the door, and play three songs for a quarter each. Yep, that is the life right there, only to find that some of the people just butcher 'Saints go Marching In.' A DDR Extreme, and they have to butcher the song. Oh well, I guess it is worth the price of admission.

What is so "special" about girls and DDR, tell me? Everytime I see a thread like this, it makes me chuckle. It's like "OMFG A GRIL PLEY DDR!!!11111*BONERZ*"... Get over it, already. Yes yes yes, there are ladies playing DDR. Fines ladies at that. Some less fine than others, but that's another story for another forum. But the question is: who cares, really? Yeah, this hot chick played DDR and pwned Drop Out Heavy... So what? You didn't have the guts to talk to her? Oh well, as the old saying goes, YOU GOT SERVED!

well i agree that there were less girl ddr players but i recently went to michigan and i only saw 2 male ddrers the whole week and 1 couldnt do beginner! but i saw at least 20 girls and although the guy was better than all of them i still couldnt believe it. (and about half of the girls were sucky or didnt know when to stop putting on blue eyeshadow.)
