Has anyone heard anything about www.quick-mods.com?

They look like they have a good deal on a premodded DMS3 system, but I'd like to know if anyone has had any experiences with them before ordering.

Also, although I'm pretty sure I want the DMS3, I have only had limited experiences with mod chips. Is there a reason I shouldn't get the DMS3?

Ok, I installed my new fliptop cover on my ps2. It came with two bootdisks, "Swap Magic 3.0" (for CD games) and another one for DVD games. Now, I also purchased DDRExtreme from liksang.com. I know that this is a DVD, so I use the DVD swap disk. Now here's my problem. When it gets to the "starfield background" and says insert disk, I open the fliptop then remove the bootdisk then put the DDRextreme disk in and close the fliptop. I then press "X". The starfield freezes, then after a very long time it displays a red background. I checked every disk that I've been using (no scratches) and done everything correctly. Why won't it load extreme??? (by the way, my ps2 still plays regular american games)
please help!!

Ok, so now the program runs fine, except after every few songs or so Extreme goes to a black "Loading..." screen and stays there. I have to reset the system to get it working again. anyone know how to fix this?

My friend had a similar problem with fliptops - sometimes the disc will bounce around in the drive since you took off the top of the cd drive, and if the disc spins too fast it can bounce.

I plan on getting the DMS3... as i know its probably the best mod chip out there right now... and is HDD compadible. My question is, How exactly does the emulator work? When you load up the game, do you access the HDD, and if they were downloaded, the SNES/GENESIS games will be there? Also, does anyone know if its NES compadible?

ack.. another question... I know 5th mix has antimods, and the DMS3 says taht it does not work with some antimod games. Anyone know if its 5th compatiable?

ehh....I dont know about this one, but the "no-solder" plug mod for ps2 DOES involve soldering ONE wire, AND you still have to use a gameshrk/action replay. I think if u have the $ to burn, get this and see what happens.

ok, i think i fixed the loading problem because i forgot to put in a screw on the back of the ps2. now, the ps2 turns on fine, BUT WHEN I PUSH THE EJECT BUTTON THE CD TRAY ONLY PARTIALLY EJECTS, THEN GOES BACK IN!!! (not all the way back in). WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THIS thing??? i'm about to throw it across the room. Please, please find it in your soul to help me. i'm about to cry

you got the CD tray out of alignment. Try to nudge it back into place.

That plug thingy from consoleplus is for the PS not the PS2.

The infinity is the new PS2 modchip called the matrix infinity, keep an eye out for this chip guys as it seems its gonna be the best chip around. Competitive to that of the DMS3.

I have a question about DDRMax Jp. I have the swap magic disc (cd version), but the problem is that it won't load on my PS2... Is there any other products I could buy along with DDRMax to get it to play on my system?
