That's what I'm getting for DM. No less than the arcade, I say. |
That looks pretty hot for DM.
Although they're placed just a bit differently than the arcade DM controller, it's not very far off at all. I could definitely see playing on that
I didn't realize you could use any Drum set for DM. I always thought KBM was the only Bemani that let you use other controllers. That's kinda neat cause one of the reasons why I never got into DM was because the home version controller is almost as bad as the midget home version Pop'n controller is for Pop'n. _________________

I just got my Konami Guitar Freaks controller and 1st mix in the mail from a seller on EBay (I did a buy it now on the auction with both items for only $49.99 plus $15 shipping! After a year of looking and refusing to pay close to $100 just for the controller, I guess I lucked out).
Anyway, the controller did not come with a neck strap, is there anyplace that sells the Konami neck strap seperate, or does anyone have a neck strap that works well with that controller (since it's smaller than a regular guitar) or will any neckstrap I can find work well enough? |

Hi all!
I just bought the DTXpress III and it works fine with GM4/DM3 but I can't get it to work with GM3/DM2. When I go into options and key config it does not have "USB Drumset" listed. Is there a way to get it to work with this game?
Thanks _________________

only GF4/DM3 works with that. If you need to make it work, though, MAYBE you could wire those sensors to a playstation controller. |

Hey all,
I was planning on getting a IIDX controller, the official konami one. However, I only have a PC - no PS2 - but I know how to get it setup on the PC. However, I am not sure if this controller will be compatible with a PS2 -> USB converter (specifically, I have the EMS USB 2). Does anyone know if this will work? |

buy a PS2. A modded or Japanese one. You need it to play the only legal versions of Beatmania/IIDX. |

Yes. Okay. And how legal is it to mod a PS2? Smart one.
I can actually buy the games then just play the songs off of them, too.
Try answering the original question. |

I've tried the IIDX controller with a USB converter, and it works very well. _________________

in any case, modding your PS2 and buying the games is a heck of a lot better than stealing a bunch of songs. The totally legal thing to do would be to move to japan and buy a japanese PS2 and the game, but that would just be retarded.
Go ahead and buy the games to get the songs if you want. But I know that that's not the way it happens. |

Will the official Konami controller (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-88-70-3fh-4-7.html) require any modification? Will it encounter "sticky" keys? Also, on the front page, it says it is reversable. How is this possible and what do you mean by "reversible?" |

In IIDX, you can play with the turntable on the right or the left side. The keyboard part of the controller can be popped out and flipped around so the turntable is on the other side of the keys.
The controller will most likely require modding at some point, to get rid of sticky keys. It's not hard at all to do, and won't take very long if you do it right.

What's so bad about the Rave Discman? I'd like to buy the Official Konami IIDX Controller, but I can't find any place that sells it for a reasonable price and is in stock. Where should I get it, other than eBay? |

I don't care about the button sizes as they will just make me better when I get the official controller (I'll be so used to having to press small circles and making sure that my fingers are accurate that when I get the official one I will be basically hitting the keys in the dead center, so if it comes to a hard song, I can just hit the extra space made from the rectangular buttons). How dodgy is the turntable? Like, if you turn it, nothing happens? |

Um, Himeya, but that's $125 + shipping. Other than that, ebay. There's a shortage due to 7th Style. shop.himeya.com |
