Hi guys. Sorry about this question, as I've heard it asked many times on many seperate forums, but I need help making an Oni course file.

Ok. Say I wanted to make an Oni course titled The System. The songs I want in it would be (in order) Look To The Sky (True Color Mix), Midnite Blaze (Sys S.F. Mix), Drop The Bomb (System S.F. Mix), Look to the Sky (Trance Mix), and Kind Lady (Future Trance Mix).

I have all of the song files organized in a folder called "other" in my stepmania songs directory. (By the way, I have Stepmania 3.0 final, is there any other better version, and how would i get it)

So...I go into microsoft Wordpad, and type a wordpad file that looks like this:

#COURSE:The System;
#LIVES:4;
#REPEAT:NO;
#SONG:c:\program files\stepmania\songs\other\Look to the Sky (True
Color Mix):Heavy;
#SONG:c:\program files\stepmania\songs\other\Midnite Blaze (Sys S.F. Mix):Heavy;
#SONG:c:\program files\stepmania\songs\other\Drop The Bomb (System S. F. Mix):Heavy;
#SONG:c:\program files\stepmania\songs\other\Look To The Sky (Trance Mix):Heavy;
#SONG:c:\program files\stepmania\songs\other\Kind Lady (Future Trance Mix):Heavy;

I typed this up exactly as above (except each song was on only one line, i could only fit so much on one line in the forums here). After I typed it up, I saved it as The System.crs in a folder called The System in my Courses folder in the stepmania directory.

If there is anything I did wrong, let me know. Also, if it is something I typed wrong above, please provide the correct "coding" for the course file in your reply. I would appreciate this a lot. Thanks.

This is where you went wrong. It should read
Quote:
#SONG:other:midnight blaze (sys S.F. Mix):Maniac;

Fix all the others like that and you should be fine.
