Is there anywhere that *isn't* sold out of IIDX controllers?

Yes, I've already checked the sites in the mini-FAQ, and several more to boot. Every site I've checked has been out of stock and vague about when a restock might occur.

Are there any sites that *do* have the controllers in stock, or do we have another shortage? I'd really rather not to have to buy a Rave Discman, although the way that they cost like, a third to a quarter of the price is fairly tempting.

Where did you find IIDX controllers on Toys n Joys? I've looked here:

and also under the standard "controllers, pads, light guns" heading, and seen no mention of IIDX controllers under either. Not to mention that using their Google search box to search for "IIDX", "II DX" and "beatmania" turned up no IIDX controllers either.

Could you link me to the page where they've got the controllers listed? Thanks.

Ok... Well, it does indeed cost a bit, but I'm not sure I have much of a choice. I would have preferred to buy from yesasia thanks to their free shipping but needless to say, they don't have any.

If you feel comfortable with it, try ebay. I almost always see 2 or 3 for auction at any given time. Right now, there are two up, one for sale in a bundle with 3rd/4th/5th style (but it's only at 51 dollars? I'm skeptical), and there are even 2 ASC's.

I'm in the same situation as yo, Xythar. I posted a similar post on bemanistyle.com saying that all the sites that they said that I should go to get started for IIDX either didn't have the controller, and it for a ridiculous price, or was out of stock. I originally planned on purchasing it from Play-Asia but they ran out of stock.

I think so...there has been a shortage since Christmas...Ive got a ASC so it does not bother me...

But if you can get one Id grab it in a heartbeat, because I think the price will go up once 7th is released

Anyone know if Toys n Joys is reliable, then? They've gotten a few pretty bad reviews on another site that kind of put me off. How are they for international orders?

Also, do they charge your card when you order or when the order ships? Does the "ships in one week" under their IIDX controller listing mean they actually can ship one out a week after your order, or is it the same as "sold out" on any other site?

Yeah, I worry too much, but it's a lot of money.

I bought 5th style from Toys n Joys a couple weeks ago. 5th style came in right when they said it would - a week later. Been playing it ever since.

I say go for it.

There are a couple of used ones up there now that probably won't cost too much in the end... the problem is that both of them state in the shipping specifications that the seller will ship to the US only. So much for that >_<

Well, you can always ask the seller if they would be willing to ship to your area.

and about toys and Joys. when I had ordered some SS and Import GC stuff and they siad it was in stock till I waited a few days without hearing anything about my items being shipped.

I had to call them long distance to sort it out...they didnt have one of the items I had ordered and they decided to hold off till it was in stock.

they should have called/emailed me before doing that...Never again...
