Here's one: My parents are evil and won't let me own DDR so I started an online petition asking total strangers to sign it, hoping that they will reconsider. If that doesn't work, I'll get the Magical DDR Fairy named Sakura to let me fly to DDR Land. I will have to trail the Legend Road and Survive the Paranoia, then meet some dude named MaX. It will be tough, but if I stick to my engines, I think I can....

They took away the arcade I used to work at (and thus the DDR machine) so I modded my PS2, got some JP mixes and bought a Cobalt Flux. _________________

ever take those scantron tests in school w/ the fill-in-the-bubble multiple-choice questions? i realized that if i turn the answer sheet the right way, it looks like a step chart from ddrfreak
i wanted to copy the answers and put it into an edit at home, but i was afraid they'd think i was cheating (who would believe "my test answers are a step chart from this dancing game that you've never heard of, so you have to let me take them home"?) |

I have two metal pads and four soft pads.
I think about DDR all the time and I'm at my local arcade about 20 hours on the weekends.
I even downloaded stepmania in school so I could play in the morning before school started. |

I'm so much of a freak that when my friends and i went to the Great Wolf Lodge, we ditched the waterpark and played DDR at the arcade.
Another time, I was grounded (so I couldn't go to the arcade), and I was broke- as well as my soft mat, so I played on the handheld controller while pretending to play on my broken mat even though it wasn't connected (it didn't matter if it was or not)
And in school, while I'm sitting at my desk I think about DDR and move my feet under the desk, imagining the arrows in my mind...
Sometimes when I have 3 friends over and we only happen to have 1 mat, we all sit around the mat and pick an arrow and hit the arrows with our fists, only I guess that would break a mat faster...
Sometimes when I play too much I get this icky lump on the inside of my foot that hurts real bad, but I still keep playing, and then one time it broke and it was all bloody but I just wrapped it up and kept playing.
Damn, I am just so determined to step on those little arrows... _________________
Don't you just hate it when you find a song at the arcade that you really like because it has fun steps, but you can't really hear it because the DDR machine is right next to the first person shooter that's always goin' "Kkekekekekekeke!" all the time? and then later you get to hear the song and it's something really fruity like "You're a pink little dinosaur!" ?! |

Me and my friends went to the mall one day and the DDR machine was turned off!!! (gasp)....So we ran all over the mall looking for sumone to turn it on for us. We would have went to customer service and asked for a janitor but luckily we met our friends there who had to turn it on before so they knew how. Then, even tho the machine was old and sucky and you could barely hear the music, we played annyway, and funw as had by all. Then I went home and played for another 2 hours _________________

I had the arcade pretty much to myself, so I played for four hours straight, taking a break on the second hour to let someone else play.
That's probably not an interesting story, but four hours straight is a lot to me. My endurance went through the roof.
