Well, I just downloaded Alpha 15 yesterday, and guess what?
The thing is chock full of fscking bugs!
The earliest noticable bug is on the difficulty select menu, wherein "Magic Dance's" corner is sticking out on the top left corner, and then there's the issue of Endless and Nonstop being scrunched together.
The next thing some may notice is that some of the songs with Oni steps have had their difficuties shifted back (i.e. Challenge=Heavy, Heavy=Standard, etc.) and you can't play Oni at all.
Help? _________________

I'm not sure what you mean. Upgrade to alpha 16, and make sure you're using the default or SMMAX2 theme; if you still see it, make a screenshot. (If you're seeing it in a different theme, it's probably a bug in the theme.)

This is fixed in alpha 16.

I'm not really sure what you're saying. |

I have done what you said earlier... i don't think its a bug i just don't know how to set up 2nd player controlls. everytime i set up something for player 1... it does the same thing for player 2...
EDIT: All i'm saying is i have the highest recomended usb adapters 2 pads. and when i set up the controls i can't get the 1player settings box to go a different direction of the 2nd player box. In the options menu. So what ever i do for one player happens to both. How do i get that to seperate. _________________

Whenever you download a new version of Alpha Stepmania, you need to expect that there are going to be bugs. If you want to not worry about them, either download a version that has few bugs and stick with it, or else play a different sim. Also, major bugs are almost always fixed immediately in a quick new release (as in the Alpha 15 -> Alpha 16 case), so don't panic. _________________
