I posted in the soft pad topic thing but i never got a response so please can someone answer me and ban me or something but please just listen. I have a soft pad and it worked fine until like last night. The down arrow only works when no other buttons are being pressed or have any pressure on them. It doesn't work with the left and right arrows simultaneously (aka jumps) but it works with up perfect. If there is a down hold and i hit it and then hit the left or right arrow repeatedly, you see the down freeze fade off an on like the left and right are shorting it out or something. Is this fixable?

even if you dont get a response you should still put ur problem in the appropriate thread...it seems like u ripped in the insides of ur pad...if it was mad catz or some cheap brand its likely to happen

That's odd that it worked fine until recently. Otherwise, it sounds like you simply need to disable the controller during gameplay. This is in the options menu under gameplay. This should fix your problem.

the soft pad is always mess up. if u open the pad up the wiring is like stuck to the sheets on the pad. i kno this bc when i open the pad up and started to play, it works fine. but it hurts ur body since its not soft anymore if u open it up.

You're not helping.

I agree with Mook's theory. It sounds like some of the face buttons aren't disabled and that they might be stuck closed on the pad, preventing the other buttons from being pushed.
