The Background vids in Ex would be Stoic, but the Beatmania IIDX version is way better! I would also say Genom Screams is a pretty cool vid.

But I personally think Beatmania IIDX has the best background vids, especially the Last Message video that shows Meg dancing Para Para style and showcasing her nice body!

It would be cool If Konami EVER puts out another DDR mix and they put background vids like BMIIDX.

There's a thread just like this about one page back, and it already has three pages going, so you guys might want to go there. They're also talking about favorite background grahpics at the beginning of the song as well as favorite videos, so you guys could talk about either there.

I'd have to say that my favz are, the dancing cactus with moraccas on Gamelan de Gogo, and CARL, the smiling sun in the backround of Make it better, and the 2nd Jam Jam Reggae.

Gamelan de Couple, Matsuri Japan, Sakura, and Paranoia Rebirth have really cool backgrounds. I especially like Sakura because it almost looks like an anime.

I really like the Dancing Cactus. I try not to look at the background while playing, But I once got a look at it during Gamelan, and I tripped and failed... I was cracking up!

Another favourite is the Dancing telephone robot from Rhythm and police/Telephone operator. Same thing happened with this one as well. =)

Console-wise, Dream a Dream, and True (sunrise trance mix) have really good videos (talking Max2US and MaxUS respectively), and the MaxUS video for R&P is funny, as opposed to the one from DDRE, which (if memory serves) is different. I wants me one of those auto-dialin' telephone bots.

Not really a video, but this is certainly my alltime favorite background...

Does anyone remember way back in 4th mix, there was a backround with a bunch of stick people holding up a red daschund wearing a cape. The dog had "THE FLYING DOG" written on it. that's my favorite.

I thiink it was originally for rhythmn and police becvause when i was websearching, i ran on a japanese show that was about cops chasing badguys and smething like that and it was called rhythmn and police... i think. anyways i think the trenchcoat one is chasing the other ones.

Well i like it because the run in 1 constant pace and that is how DDR should be played if you are going for stamina player

I just found the "Interview with techno machine" animation (The Legend Of Max) and "NO TRUE, NO TRUE" animation (LOM also)

the movie clips in Dance Dance Revolution, are EXTREMELY cool
i also like the one where the camera is going straight over water and it comes near an island. It's in many songs, Irrisistablement comes to mind
