Theres your answer right there!
There is no way that it wouldn't work with a cobalt because the cobalt is wired the same as all other pads... just built better!
I use the EMS2 and it works G to the Great _________________

Because I own a CF, I would highly recommend getting the pad regardless and getting a new adapter if you need. I highly doubt you'll run into any problems with compatibility, but if you do, I would say buy a new adapter...the pad is worth it! _________________

I want to be able to use my CFluxes to connect to Stepmania and ALSO play doubles/Solo mode on each of them.
The PS2-->USB converters all seem to have compromises, is there one that just 'works' ? (Without changing settings in Stepmania or having to hold down buttons for three seconds or that kind of stuff (and will ALSO work with the 6-arrow Solo mode?)
Thanks experts!

I own the Lik-Sang adapter, and it has never caused me any problems. It does, however, support only one pad, so you would need two adapters (and two USB ports) to play doubles. I know it will work for Solo because it works for a normal PS2 controller, so mapping all the buttons isn't a problem. I know two will work for doubles because I have connected two pads to play versus before. I've also heard a lot of good things about the EMS USB2 adapter, so you may want to look into that as well. _________________
