Well, I have to say, it was definately fun while it lasted, although I was at school during the day and didn't get to enjoy the "powers". I still think it'd be awesome to become a mod. Great joke this year!

It was a Funny Joke.....i just think some people took it way out of hand. just goes to show you that if you give a bunch of tenns and young adults some freedom they will mos def take advantage.

It seems that a few posts in the NY forum are gone, strangely enough. In sherl0k's thread about Phrekwenci being banned, I wanted to find the part where I said that his banning was part of the joke. Rampage just seemed too fake when he was warning and "banning" Phrek. Oh well, it was fun to play along. You guys did a great job on the God/Goddesses forum. It was quite funny to read, especially how JTF was going to hit up the Mid-A forum for money and how Phrek nominated Technick for Maniac status (probably on the same day he yells at Nick for postwhoring).

It was fun yesterday, but only in the morning when there weren't too many people on. It was fun bumping year-old threads and commenting, especially one from Remy entitled "Don't bump year old threads, kids." I just had fun locking random topics and typing "LOCK AND POINTS" and just pretending to be serious about it. It was a little soured when people just started to delete everything, but hey, it was still fun.

Thanks for a great joke, but how about making everybody a mod, a monthly feature or something.

Well, all I got to say: This was the most brilliant April Fools Joke ever. I didn't get to participate much yesterday, cause I was busy. But, I did check in throughout the day............just to see a Frozen Food Forum! Well, almost everyone got their wish of being a mod.......even if it was for just one whole day. At least we now know what happens when people stop being polite, and start getting real.......I mean maniacal.

Well although I'd say I overreacted a couple of times during because I saw people actually getting upset, I still think the idea was well planned and quite brilliant. The everyone-is-a-mod thing was hilarious, and I thought it was pretty damn funny when I logged on and basically the whole forum had been deleted

Welp, went to lock my thread in marketplace because I finished the sale of my games to joebiscuit but for whatever reason I cannot lock my thread. Keeps saying that "You are not a moderator of this forum". You guys may want to check on that.

Ahhh the dust has settled. I must admit, just sitting back and watching the entire thing was extremely...interesting. S'like a Jerry Springer show w/out Steve and the other security to stop the carnage.

I've made it a personal rule to pretty much never trust a website on April fool's day.

And don't the think the mods weren't watching who was being naughty and who was being nice with their temporary powers.
*takes notes of who showed enough responsibility to possibily become future mods*
