Yep, there are loads of Girl Dancers, But most of them ive seen play on standard, and a couple on Heavy. I convinced one girl to play R3 on Heavy...

a bunch of the girls i play with were origionally forced to play by there friends and or boyfirends. Mabee thats why there is a lack of interest? I donno, there are some good girl DDR players out there.

I think if I see another one of these "Do girls play with you, are they good, are they hot, do they have big boobs posts I'm gonna scream. To answer all the questions...yes, yes, yes, and yes. I am a girl, big shocker there, I play heavy, I go to tournaments, I place at tournaments. My close friends who also place are mostly male. Gender has little to do with this game, except for the fact that video games in general are male dominated and therefore DDR is male dominated. Skill does not derive from what falls between your legs, but rather practice, time, and precision.

I wasn't forced by anyone. I just started playing for the heck of it, and it looked like fun. I like it for the excersie so I continued until where I am now..and I still play.

And seriously, it's not an oddity, we're just females. If more girls than guys played, the girls wouldn't be having heart attacks cause guys played.

ok.... unless I've played with you, then i wasn't talking about you. 3 out of 5 girl players i've played with said they were forced at first, then they grew to love it. Thats what i was tryin to say. And i have not seen many girl DDR players, I have seen like 10 in my DDR life. Thats not alot. Were you are that might be diffrent, but in Kansas City, there's not many.

i'm a girl and i play heavy. nobody forced me to play, my first time was when i was 12 or 13 and i was at an arcade in florida. i got hooked and kept playing. it's true, i havent seen many girls who play on heavy. one of my friends switches between trick and heavy but i've only met one girl who used to play catas with me and then she moved to oregon. blah.

and my boyfriend plays basic.

I danced with this 11-12 year old girl at New Park Mall and at Milpitas Golfland. I think she's from Fremont or New Wark, CA. Anyways, she plays on Heavy and she can pass songs like Max 300, MaxX Unlimited, Paranoia Survivor, Bag (x1 and on reverse), etc. I also seen her at the March MAdness 2K4 tourney at MGL. She didn't enter the tourney but I seen her play during the free play time. She alsmost passed Paranoia Survivor on extra stage. I think the pad just threw her off at the end.

I'm 13 so I rarely get asked to play with someone but I met this 19 year old at the arcade, not only was she hot, she was better than me, so the moral of the story is: getting pwned by hot 19 year olds is sweet.
